I had the regular Philly Cheesesteak. The bread is ok, fine. The filling is absolutely delicious. Beef thinly sliced, melty cheese, onions and red bell peppers well cooked, great. Here's the deal. There were 8 people working. 8 people. There were less people ordering, eating there and waiting for sandwiches. Half of the people were literally standing there, either watching or training or just milking the clock. It took 20 minutes for me to get my cheesesteak. I have cooked hundreds of cheesesteaks in my career, maybe thousands. It is a fast food. With all the people there including a manager, the ticket time should be no more than 10 minutes, Period!!! This is short order 101. In fact, they need to shoot for ticket times of 5 to 7 minutes. Get it together. I am available to consult, if needed. read more

I walked in at 8:52 and all 4 employees let out a big sigh in front of me all looking at each other pissed off that I had just walked in. They made me feel so un welcome and uncomfortable like wow if you really hate your job that much why don't you quit? All I ordered was one sandwich that was poorly and sloppy made. The employee grabbed a whole handful of jalepenos and dumped it on my sandwich after I had asked for some. I asked for rosemary bread, they gave me regular bread. Like seriously is that hard to make a damn sandwich ? I was going to be in and out of there hair but the attitude was insane. Please quit your job if you hate it so much. Horrible service. The days of coming here for a quick meal seem to be over. Second consecutive time I come here in the last couple of weeks and experienced extreme wait times. Today, I waited 15 min, until I decided to just leave . In those 15min I waiting , only ONE customer ahead of me was help, and he only had ONE sandwich . Jersey Mike's makes a tasty sandwich and their employees are skilled and hard working, thus the A-OK rating. When at work, I usually eat a simple mid-shift meal and spend around $8.00. That doesn't sound like much but it actually represents about $1.00 per hour of my wages spent on one meal. Employers only pay a certain number of dollars per hour and that's before I even think about other financial obligations such as payroll taxes, food, shelter, etc. Yesterday I took my $8.00 over to Del Taco where their employees are also skilled and hard working. Instead of eating inside, I went through the drive-thru. My $8.00 got me a meal that included fries and a drink. They have a huge banner posted in the drive-thru looking for workers and they pay $20 or more per hour. You pay the posted price for your food at the counter or the window in my case and go. Today I took my $8.00 to Jersey Mike's and got a MINI sandwich. No chips or drink. I want to just pay and go, but right there in my face is a touchscreen panhandling me as to whether I want to contribute more money to help pay Jersey Mike's employee's wages. Employers are required to pay the entire legal hourly rate in California. I don't know what Jersey Mike's pays, but their workers and their job duties do not meet the definition of a "tipped" employee anyway (table waiters and bartenders....paid less than the legal hourly rate in other states). The worker's pay rate is strictly a conversation between them and the employer. I'm a customer of the business. Stop bothering me with this stuff. I think tomorrow's mid-shift meal will be at Del Taco. read more

I went here for my lunch as usual. I eat jersey mikes probably 2-3 times a week. I usually order the #9 and have no issues at this location. I noticed the girl on the meat slicer was a bit irritated, she was slamming around the meat for other orders and her general body language, you could tell she was not happy. Also I could tell by her attitude when she took my order. No worries, everybody has a bad day, didn't think much about it. I continued to order and get my sandwich. I didn't notice until I got home but looks like she took out her bad day on my sandwich. If you look at the pic I took. The meat is paper thin and you can barely see the turkey. I wish I had my normal sandwich picture for comparison. I would say it's about 1/3 the normal meat portion. Either all the other sandwiches I've eaten in the past were just made with extra meat without me knowing or she didn't set the correct width on the slicer. Won't be coming back. Will just drive the extra mile and go to birch St location. Better management and training is needed. read more

If you don't have a lot of time, especially at lunch, I suggest you use their app. The sandwiches are very good here. Since they have to cut the meat for each sandwich, it does take a little longer which is why I suggest using the app so that the food will be ready once you get there. I pretty much am a fan of their roast beef sandwiches. Their tuna is good as well and they say that they make it daily so you won't get dried tuna that could've been made a few days before. I ordered giant #7 and specifically asked to cut in 3 equal pieces and asked for a side of jalapeno and pickles. Whoever cut this sandwich does not understand 3 "EQUAL" pieces means because I got a large piece, a medium piece and a small piece. Of course, they forgot to add the side of jalapeno and pickles. I guess it's not a good idea to order through their app because I need to physically be there and monitor the worker to make sure I get what I ask for, otherwise this is what I will get. Was my first time, from my memory, that I have been to Jersey Mike's when I went a few months ago. They were preparing a pickup order, but got to me as soon as they could. I didn't mind since I was still deciding what to get. I think I ended up getting one of their specialty sandwiches and got one of their big bags of chips. The worker was really nice and did their best to get my order out to me as quick as they could. There were a few tables to sit at inside and they also had a soda fountain dispenser. In a few minutes, they had my order ready and I was in my way. I was surprised how good the price was for the items I bought and the sandwich actually tasted pretty good. I ordered online through the Jersey Mikes website for pickup. Unfortunately just about every part of my order was wrong. I understand mistakes happen but there were too many to overlook on my order. I ordered a number 13 mikes way no onions as my husband is allergic to onions the sandwich had onions all over it so unfortunately he could not consume it and it had to be thrown away. The number 17 I ordered on white bread but it arrived on wheat. Both of the number 8 sandwiches I paid $2.00 per sandwich for both of them to have avocado neither one of them did. I ordered and paid for 2 chocolate chip cookie 3-packs and received 1. Basically I was charged $6.50 for things that we didn't get and $9.95 for a sandwich had to be thrown out. I have always been a huge fan of Jersey Mikes. When I knew I was getting a location close to home I was pretty stoked. This location has been open for 3 months now so it's pretty new. Well it did not disappoint because my sandwich was just as good as always. Ordered the #7 turkey and cheese on wheat. Meat and cheese are always sliced thin and fresh. Added my usual fixings lettuce, tomato, pickles, oil and vinegar, salt and pepper, and yellow mustard. The sandwich was fresh and yummy. It's a must I add a bag a chips as well to get the right taste. Usually it's the jalapeño chips. They have hot sandwiches and wraps as well. My hubby usually gets the chicken philly no peppers and adds mushrooms. It did not disappoint here either. They sell some dessert treats from tasty cakes for those who want to satisfy the sweet tooth. When I walked in the location was empty so I was helped right away. The gent was nice and friendly. Food is good for the price, but without a doubt there is always something wrong with my pick up order (jalapeños on the wrong sandwich, mayo when no mayo was asked for) and they have become incredibly cheap with the meats and onions (seems like there is way more lettuce in the sandwiches these days). I LOVE this Jersey Mike's. My hubby is addicted to their sandwiches, so I'm here AT LEAST once or twice a week. The food is fresh, tasty and worth the price, but it's the customer service that keeps me coming back. In particular Sarah (the manager) and AJ do an outstanding job of leading their crew. Everyone is friendly, professional and whether it's empty or crowded they keep things moving in a timely manner, and if they're training someone new and it does slow down, someone comes along and helps or rearrange things to keep them moving. I've seen them handle grumpy customers with patience, kindness and professionalism, but most of the time you walk in and feel like you've entered the little local small town deli where they know you and sometimes even know your regular order. I HIGHLY recommend this sandwich shop, which says volumes from someone who isn't a big sandwich girl. read more

This afternoon for lunch, was my 2nd time eating at Jersey Mike's. Apparently, I need to get in here more. The majority of my time inside this store is based on my UberEATS deliveries. It's obvious many people like their sandwiches and for good reason. The customer service is always super friendly and the employees work FAST. They really strive to listen to your order, perfect it to your liking, deliver it with a smile and effort that is anti-lazy, and help get you on your way. Whether that's back to work or something else. They have a variety of sandwiches to choose from. Hot and cold. Meat and vegetarian based. They sell an assortment of chips and even bake cookies fresh daily. The drink machine has great choices to decide on and they offer a decent seating place inside. This includes tables and chairs and high top stools with a narrow shelf that faces the exterior parking lot. Speaking of parking, it's located in a large strip mall so you won't have to walk far for your meal. In that case, park a few rows down and burn some calories on your way out. read more

Giving them two stars only because the food wasn't bad. Otherwise this is a highly disorganized store with awful customer service. We called in an order for four sandwiches and a kids meal and was told it would be 25 min. When my grandfather arrived at the time stated he ended up waiting another 20 min in store with no one addressing him before handing off his order. Apparently he wasn't the only customer in there left waiting and frustrated. When he got home we discovered the kids meal was missing. We called back and asked if we could return to get the kids meal and the employee on the phone seemed to have the hardest time comprehending the fact the order was missing. She asked if we paid for it and we confirmed we had but they never gave a receipt for us to show them. She eventually told us we could come back and this time my mother went. When she got there they had a sandwich for her but nothing else that came with the kids meal. They told her that we never asked it be the kids meal, even through we ordered it TWICE with them at this point. The kid at the counter could give my mom no information about the order and said the person who made the sandwich was busy. My mom asked to speak to a manager and he stated he was the manager, which in itself is wild considering he had no idea what was going on in the store. Eventually my mom left with the sandwich frustrated, to which an employee finally said something but only to question if she had paid for it or not. Definitely will not be going back to this location again. I get it's a Saturday and it's busy but literally no one had any clue what was going on or how to handle anything in-store, including the so-called management. read more

I love Jersey Mike's...so its with a heavy heart I write this review specifically for this location. The service here is terrible. I've tried it a couple times and have always left disappointed, but never bothered to write a review until this last time. The staff was making fun of the little kids who do karate next door, even sarcastically making fun of them to their faces. Again, I love Jersey Mike's, but times are rough and a lot of businesses need us to help them survive.
