Walked in at closing, apologized to the staff who smiled and said "no problem" and quickly made our order. Subs were great and service was top notch. Thanks for still having a smile at 8:55! Returned the next day, served quickly for dinner. When we turned around the line was out the door. Clearly shows the great food and service inside. read more

I ordered a Chipotle cheese steak with onions & peppers. When I got it home the first thing I noticed was whoever wrapped the sandwich with paper crushed the sandwich. But to make matters worse there was only a small amount of meat, some cheese & Chipotle sauce. No onions, no green peppers. Maybe the sandwich would not have crushed so bad if the bread had some more meat, and some peppers & onions inside of it. Jersey Mike's has always been a favorite sub shop for us. Not so much any more. Very disappointing! read more

, the subs are great a little bit pricey, but great service highly recommend if you want a good sub read more

We ordered the Cheese Steak and the Italian Hoagie with extra meat and cheese from the Mt. Airy and Urbana, Md stores. There is no extra ANYTHING. For a sub that cost $20.95, I would have expected more than 2-3 slices of meat. I loved Jersey Mikes in Ashburn, VA as they didn't scrimp on meat or cheese. I'm from Philly and know what is in a regular cheese steak and hoagie. This wasn't it. A hoagie is a sub that you need 2 hands to hold. Not this. read more

Jersey Mike's is the best fast food sub restaurant, and this sub shop off of 70 is no different. Pretty busy, but the employees kept things moving. Will drop by again. read more

Clean, friendly, quick. Fresh breads, meats, and toppings. Thanks! A little hard to find because they're tucked into a recessed corner of a strip mall. (As you face Safeway they're in the left hand strip closer to Safeway). read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Kids meal - Fast Food Near Me - Mount Airy, Maryland

Been buying subs here for years. Always excellent. Way better than most sub shops. The staff is always polite and friendly.

This place is the worst. Ordered two subs. One big kahuna chicken and the other a chipotle cheesesteak. The bread on the kahuna was so soggy that it tasted like raw dough and something tasted like it was not good. Not sure if it was the mayo or what. Ended up throwing away a giant sub. My son had the chipotle and finished his only to wake up sick and throw it all up. So disgusted and disappointed. After reading some of the other reviews, it seems like this is just how they are. I won't be back. read more

Stopped in with my family while traveling to see parents. Perfect stop. Wish the Jersey Mikes In my home town was as clean as this one. Great break for my family, Thanks for the fresh and delicious subs! read more

Great sandwiches and fast service! Every time I come here the workers are super friendly and fast!

Totally disorganized and chaotic. Ordered 5 sandwiches 'to go' and three were incorrect when I got home. I ordered my BLT with added mayo and pickle. I received my BLT with only bacon, pickle and mayo on it. The steak and cheese sandwich had a piece of spaghetti on it. The deli doesn't serve spaghetti, so where did it come from? How disgusting!!! Staff was very distracted with something going on in parking lot. Would not recommend. read more

What happened to there sub rolls. A small child could eat more. Sub roll was extremely narrow not worth money.

The #55. I am a little disappointed with this one. I love the flavors but felt like it was lacking mean and the toppings were minimal. Good but not as filling as I'd hoped :) read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - Fast Food Near Me - Mount Airy, Maryland

The subs here are definitely a step up above Subway, but this franchise needs to get its act together. Pros: - Deli meats sliced when your sub is made - Simple, but fresh, tasty toppings (esp. Mike's Way - lettuce, tomato, onion, oil, vinegar, seasonings) Cons: (this is why only 3 stars) - Been twice, dude behind counter that I shall call "Beavis" was pretty much clueless about his restaurants own menu. I had the misfortune of being waited on by him both times, both times I ordered right off the menu; both times he had no idea what should go on the sandwich. C'mon man - how hard can it be, there is just a handful of subs on your OWN menu!!! - Not clean. The meat slicer looked like it had not been cleaned for a LONG time -- a pile of meat scraps lay at the bottom of it. The blade on the slicer was literally coated with meat from prior cuts of who knows how long ago. Beavis seemed more interested in watching a girls softball match on a TV in the shop than worrying about doing his job. Bottom line: I like the concept of Jersey Mike's, but if you are the manager of this franchise and are reading this review -- get a grip and get employees that know the menu, know what good service actually means, and care enough to keep the place clean. read more

My boyfriend and I order subs from here at least once a week. As someone who suffers from food allergies, it's comforting to know that the staff here always take care of me. The food is amazing and the people who work there are great! read more

Loved Jersey Mike's for a long while. Expensive, but always delicious and service great. We place big orders for friends and family several times a year. The past three times we've ordered, we've had numerous issues. Missing products, incorrect orders, and then on Saturday had the worst subs ever. We will be going to another restaurant. read more

I literally have never had such poor customer service nor been yelled at by a high school aged employee to the point of being startled. The whole crew was extremely unprofessional. I will definitely not be going back to this location. read more

The worst customer services I have had in over 10 years from the "Store Manager" . They are 3stars on this site but if everyone had my experience, the rate would be a zero. I hope the store manager gets the train they need to service the public. I wish it could rate them a zero. I normally don't rate this low but it was well deserved. read more

I love Jersey Mikes! and this location in Mt Airy is brand new. However- my wife and I have gotten sick on more than one occasion as a direct result of eating here. We've also heard about others getting sick. We've seen employees grabbing salad without using gloves (unsanitary) management needs to fix this nonsense.. I will not eat at this location again. If I want jersey mikes I drive to frederick, md read more

Friendly staff and very attentive to the brand. Kudos to the owner. Nice and clean as it should be. Keep it up! I will definitely be back when I'm in the area. read more

Everyone at my business appreciates it when I bring Jersey Mikes subs to work. I often reward them with their favorite food when we are busy. The staff at the Mt. Airy Jersey Mikes welcomes me and is as helpful as they can be. The staff always seems to have an energetic and positive attitude You rarely see that with younger staff members at many other restaurants. My order is always prepared flawlessly. Thanks for the great subs. Todd read more

I eat here all the time. I'm on a first name basis with most of the staff, as I am in several other Jersey Mike's locations. I'm so very happy they came to Mt. Airy!!! Everyone is very friendly. The store is very clean. Best cheesesteaks you can get!! And of course I always get my cold sub's "mike's way!" Love the juice :) read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - #17, provolone instead of american cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, extra pickles, grilled onions and sweet peppers. Yum - Fast Food Near Me - Mount Airy, Maryland

Poor service, mushy tomatoes and brown lettuce ruined our Italian subs. My husband and I went to eat twice at this location and both times were no good. I know working with customer service isn't always easy, but you get pay to give good customer service and leave behind personal problems. Jersey mikes at spectrum dr. Still #1 for us. read more

Above average subs, better than Subway, or Jerry's. I've been to this one and the one in Elkridge. Just be warned that "Mike's way" means they will drench it with oil and vinegar. No fries, just chips for sides. read more

I like a good sub. Was visiting family in Mount Airy and we decided to have Jersey Mikes for take-out. This is my first visit to Jersey Mikes and the locals raved about it! How do these kids manage to screw up 2 of the 4 subs ordered for take-out? It's one thing to screw up an order when you're eating there, you just take it back to the counter. Take out is a pain because you have to put up with the junk they made, OR DRIVE ALL THE WAY BACK. I guess Ishould have been concerned when Isaw these high school kids bickering behind the counter as they made these NOT-SO-GOOD subs!!! Where is their adult supervision??? read more

The staff here is great, and the food is solid, especially the cold cut subs. Not as crazy about the hot sandwiches, I'd rather still get a meatball sub from a place with a pizza oven, but not many places make a good one any more, so this is as good as most. The rolls are good, and the meat is great. read more

I had the best costumer service at this jersey mikes. The store was clean and the employees where friendly. I ordered a giant 13 and I love watching them slice the sub in front of you. I had my sub made mikes way extra pickles and they'd stacked it with meat and toppings. I love this place and I will keep frequenting this location, keep up the great work guys! read more

Friendly staff. Price is my big complaint. Over $35 for three people to eat a sub, I just can't justify it anymore. I would still rather head over to J&P to order subs. read more

Four stars for the sub. But the owner should spend more time in this place. There were 6 people who were behind the counter and only 3 of them were doing any type of work. The rest were speaking with each other or friends. All the while the majority of tables were dirty and oil stained. And the group speaking with friends from outside made it feel unwelcoming because it felt like stepping into someone's private conversation. Will definitely give it another try. The subs are more authentic than Subway's but the focus needs to be on the customer not on the employees social life. read more

It was a busy Sunday afternoon. The employees where completely disorganized making wrong sandwiches, not making them correctly, nobody seemed to know exactly what their job was or who was suppose to be doing what. After waiting in line for 20 min, my wife decided to go next-door and get pizza. ( I should have followed her) I stayed and finally ordered my sandwich. Only to have the cash register crash when I was 3 people from checking out. The young manager couldn't fix it and had to call some one to figure it out. Needless to say my wife was back with a pizza before I checked out. The sandwich was good but this place needs to either have better training or new management. read more

Subs were good. I was disappointed with the service. I did an online order because I was very limited on time. I arrived exactly when the email said they would be ready. I then had to wait another 10 minutes because they had not even started it. read more

We love the food at most .locations. Have not tried all of them of coarse. Mount Airy has been a little hit or miss latley. Still the food is really delicious. You see adds on t.v. And the food always looks incredible .. So rare to find the food on television and what is purchased-two iuu the same. The issue today was the meat always is overflowing and cooked perfection. All was true however, the steak and cheese was a little shy on the meat. Really looked stuffed until I unwrapped it and the meat was very shy, especially at te ends more then one to two inches bare. Appeared as though they worked hard to make it look full at at top. My husbands cold cut was shy of several items. We know the menu well and have had our favorites often. More times this place is spot on and the best subs in the area. I would like to just let the store know of a small issue easily corrected. Thanks for listening. read more

I have gotten food here before and always been ok with it. this evening was the worst experience i have ever had there. my husband called an order in for 4 giant subs on rosemary parmesan bread. my friends picked the order up and paid in cash for it as their online ordering wouldn't work(imagine that). when the food got here we had 3 giants and one regular sub. not only were the sizes wrong but they were all on white bread. There was also issues with toppings on subs being correct. When I called to see what happened I talked to a very young guy who claimed to be the manager. he said they were all out of the bread we wanted but they had no decency to inform us this when the order was picked up so we didn't know until we opened the subs back at home. when i asked why they couldn't call to say that or tell us that when we ordered(20 mins earlier) he said he didn't know but they are out. He also had no answer as to why the girl that took out order had a bad attitude and apparently placed it wrong. after arguing with him he said the order would be refunded onto my card, when we had paid cash and then he hung up on me. When i called back he played it off like he never hung up and that i knew i had to go into get my money back and got shitty saying i was being rude when i had not even begun to lose my temper. Unfortunately places like this seem to be run by all young and unexperienced people who have no regard for the customer. I will NOT be going back to this location ever again. ABSOLUTLY NOT HAPPY WITH THE MANAGEMENT HERE and as im am looking further into it i am not the only one who feels this way. What the hell happened to this place in the last year???? read more

Wonderful friendly staff and meaty sandwiches at a reasonable price. Can't wait to go back next time with friends.

Excellent fast food sub sandwiches. The meatball sub was delicious.

My family and I have been going to this location since they opened. Unfortunately, the service we receive is always horrible. The only reason we kept coming back was because it is the closest store to us, but something needs to change. Employees are clueless, distracted, and non attentive. Subs are often made incorrectly and mobile orders are rarely ready on time. This weekend I ordered 2 subs on mobile order. I arrived a few minutes before pick up, spoke to the employees, and they said they were working on the order right away. I waited for 20+ minutes and watched THREE more customers get their mobile orders before mine. The store was empty now and all the employees went to the back and were chatting and laughing. I finally lost my patience and asked where my order was and it had been sitting on the counter all that time. I understand things get busy sometimes but employees need to be trained better. I don't think I will be returning to this location anymore as this was the last straw. read more

Let me get this out of the way, I love Jersey Mike's and was so excited when we spotted one while visiting family up in Maryland. Having been to a few JM's in my day, I have to say, this one really takes the cakes! The staff was friendly and our food was prepared quickly, added a bag of SCAO chips and a delicious lunch was had by all. If we are back that way, wouldn't hesitate to stop again. read more

Great place to get all kinds of subs hot and cold. Bacon is nice a crispy not that rubber subway crap! The only flaw at this particular one is when I've come on a busy night the quality has suffered a little bit.. Bread smashed up, under portioned meat, and sometimes missing a type.. Overall though I love it and will come even on those tougher times. read more
