We love Jerry's Place. We were recently there with the grandchildren and had good food, great ice cream and they played their hearts out at the arcade. The staff is always accommodating and helpful, their menu diverse and the ice cream selections fit everyone's taste. I like the scallops but my wife likes their Cobb Salad and the kids love the hamburgers. As we are local, we sometimes just drive up for a quick ice cream waffle cone and always are pleased with the selections. Jerry's is a great place and we have been in the arcade with teams and never had any problems. The visitors have always been friendly and full of questions about Cooperstown. In summer, Jerry's is a friendly meeting place with good food and something for the kids to do. read more

Love Jerry's Place and am always sad when they close in Oct for the season. We're a tourist area and it's understandable when businesses can only operate seasonally. The food is always good and the ice cream is so yummy. I place many take out orders that are prepared in a timely matter and the staff provide excellent customer service. July 10th rocked this gem of a business off its foundation due to a baseball team being rude and destructive. This was a kids team whose parents condoned their bad behavior and displayed their own. Then to attack the owners more by giving them a one star review! These kids threw rocks at their home, this is vandalism. Shame on this baseball team, more so, the poor example of parenting one could display. read more

We eat here at least once a week all summer long. Love seeing this place grow from year to year. We always say Jerry's Place has the most dependable consistent food in town. It literally never disappoints. Always fresh food cooked the same each time and prompt friendly service! No matter how many people seem to fill the parking lot we always seem to get right in. It never feels to crowded with ample seating inside and outside. Not to mention the fun for all ages arcade, the outdoor activities, and playground outside. We listened to the advice of other reviewers and stopped here on our way out from our visit to Cooperstown. This place did not disappoint! The old fashioned decor attracted us to this place as well, but bottom line, the food was great and so was the ice cream! My husband had the cheeseburger and I had the Philly Steak sandwich. Both were delicious and perfectly cooked! The home made chips were crispy and yummy, and the onion rings were good too! What a perfect little place for lunch!! Lots of choices of ice cream here too. My husband has always loved cherry ice cream and the White House Cherry here was a great one! He was in heaven! read more

Amazing! We have been multiple times already this summer and I am sure we will be back a handful more before the summer is over. The staff is always super friendly and patient. The tables and restrooms are always clean. The food is always super fresh and tasty. We love getting the corn dogs for the kids, Philly cheesesteak and a burger for the adults. The ice cream is hands down the best in the area. The flying cow is a must try. Also they have a nice outdoor area on the side of the building to hangout under the trees or they have a playground to keep your kiddos busy. read more

Amazing food and amazing people all around! we live up the road so we visit often. When I told Jeff about my diet restrictions and why I could no longer eat there, he asked me specifics about what I couldn't eat or be exposed to and made me a safe meal. I get it every time I go now and haven't had to deal with the aftermath of getting sick like at other places that tell me their food is safe for my special dietary needs and it's not. read more

The people here could not have been nicer or more accommodating! We had a last minute party the first week in June and they were able to get everyone in and out with ease and great food. I have been a patron at Jerry's before I was tall enough to look into the ice cream cooler. My excitement to go here has never diminished. This spot hits the mark for the classic American Ice Cream Parlor in a variety of ways. Food is exactly what you want it to be and the ice cream options are great. My husband and I came here every week for dinner after child birth class when I was pregnant with my first child. We now have have four teenagers and still go often. The food is great, and inexpensive. A great place to stop for lunch if you are in the Cooperstown area, a short drive from the Baseball hall of fame, camp grounds, and other local attractions.
