I have seen her once a week for 5 weeks, to-date, and I've experienced noticeable improvement. I've been to several (very) good Acupuncturists over the years and I can honestly say Dr. Bavaro is quite excellent. Her staff is nice & friendly, too. Nice "homey" office. And I look forward to her treating me with Chiropractic in the near future.

Feb 2020: This is another example of the 5star review!!!…read moreWe all know that your doctor is only as good as the info you give them .... well I've been dealing with some ear issues over the past few months. A few infections... some pain..hearing loss and lots of blockage. I've been to two different ent docs and have had no real answers other than meds ( not my cup of tea !!) Well I finally mentioned it to Karen and as of today after just one visit with her I feel sooooo much better!! She released so much pressure I was having with a few adjustments and I could feel my sinuses and ear drain. I am sticking with a weekly visit to her as I work toward a healthy me and I can't wait to get back on track !! She also showed me done stretches that will help keep things moving free. Thank you Karen... Again!! You are the absolute best and John Cooper and I know for sure we would be a mess without you! So the message here is.... Come see Karen Bavaro-Lawlor...talk to her and tell her what is ailing you... I promise you she will listen....advise and adjust you to your healthy self !!!!! Thanks Karen for keeping us healthy My husband and I have been getting our healthy adjustments for over 20 years now. Our bodies could not survive without her. She keeps ya healthy and moving with no pain. The staff is outstanding and so accommodating. They do everything they can to work with your schedule. Thank you ...Thank you for keeping our family healthy Jan 9,2019...... still feel the same. Posted this on FB but as an avid Yelp user I feel it's necessary to update ..... Thank you again to Karen Bavaro-Lawlor and Dawn Markut Redman.. I have not put my health first for a few months and boy did I feel it. I,like many, have a lot going on but I have learned that I'm not good to anyone if not feeling good. I let myself go for too long and today I finally said "Enough" I called Dawn and she got me in when it accommodated my schedule. And Karen did what she does best... adjusted me to feeling soooo much better. But now I know... I need to stay on track. I've got my appts for next week and for the first time in months I'm looking forward to tomorrow and feeling better!! Thank you soooo much for all you do for us (my husband John Cooper included). You keep us healthy and feeling young with every visit !!!

However, I've been seeing her for other health issues, especially headaches, and I've found that regular treatments have been helpful. For the record, I absolutely hate needles, but I don't mind acupuncture (too much). The needles are really small, and do not feel at all the same as getting a shot. If you think you are interested in trying acupuncture, I would recommend trying this provider. The initial consultation costs more than regular visits, but she spends a lot of time trying to figure out what is going on with your body and trying to figure out how she can help.
