I happily drive over 90 mins for checkups etc. Seems to be a surgery in front of his house. Don't be surprised when you see a hand and a cup of tea appear through a window on your right hand side really high up. It's his wife. Small reception but they keep things in the appointment book tight so I have never seen it over crowded. Through to the Dr and he's full of chat. Again very funny as he's asking you questions while working away inside your mouth. Really enjoy my visits and not many people I know enjoy the Dentist. Also please don't fall for his Duck joke ie "Quack" and "Plaque".

He truly has changed my perception of dentistry. I was in the care of another dental practice until just 18 mths ago and had been given the v bad news that I was to lose a front tooth and undergo a lot of dental work (& huge expense) to have it all dealt with. I am so, so, SO grateful that something inside me told me to get in touch with Brian's practice and seek a second opinion. The great news... he helped me retain that vital front tooth. No big expense was incurred. Common sense, humour and compassion prevailed instead. I cannot recommend this dentist or his team highly enough. I'm middle-aged and let's face it, folks: this is an age where you realise every real tooth in your head is a precious and irreplaceable friend. Therefore I'm going to the effort of writing this review because I sincerely mean it. Getting in touch with Brian's dental surgery might change someone else's life for the better, the way it has done for me. If anyone reading this is seeking a good dental practice in the north west of Ireland, I strongly urge you to make an appt with Teresa at reception in Grange dental surgery Co Sligo at your earliest opportunity. So, I hit the internet and find great recommendations for Galway Dentists. I message them and they get back to be almost instantly and offer me a choice of three appointment times. Heck, I don't get that service back home in Nashville, USA! Google maps gets me there no problem, and I'm seen by Dr. O'Brien. She does a great job and fixes me right up for a very reasonable rate. I can't recommend this place enough! If you are a local, and you are using the "can't get an appointment" excuse to avoid getting your annual exam, you no longer have that excuse! :-) If you are in town from elsewhere and in need, look no further. TIP: Joyce's grocery, across the street from Galway Dentists, offers lots of first hour free underground parking.
