Well once it was over and I asked for itemized receipt 3 times he finally said he was sending it but some things were missing since we agreed that he was charging 2000 total. I honestly didn't even know lawyers did that. He never answers your calls or texts and after the consultation I saw him at court for 10 minutes and that's it. My parents tried to tell me to fire him over conflict of interest because he was always talking with the other party. At one court date I was left siting the lobby waiting to be called in and once I was my lawyer was already inside chatting with the other party. Do not waste your money pick another lawyer.

I speak from experience...wish I didn't, but I do. Mr. Tipton was recommended to me by another attorney. First off all, he's been practicing in this area since 1979. That's 35 years of experience. A man doesn't do something for 3.5 decades w/out getting good at it. Secondly, unlike many attorneys who take a minimal interest in your case (and a max interest in taking your money), Mr. Tipton actually cares. I know, it's hard to believe. For some odd reason, he actually cares about his clients. Weird, huh? I asked a long-time Greene Co. Sheriff's Deputy about Mr. Tipton and he said "He seems to take more of an interest in his clients and their cases then the other attorneys around here." That's what you want, right? You can't put a price tag on experience and a person who actually cares. Another good thing about Leroy is that he still has the proverbial "fire in the belly". You may meet a younger attorney w/a lot of energy but no experience. You may meet an older attorney w/lots of experience but low energy. Leroy Tipton, Jr. has BOTH. Trust me on this.
