No one asked why I was booking my appointment or if there was any urgency which I thought odd, being a new patient. My appointment was set for a week later. I confirmed the appointment over the weekend via a text reminder from the office. It was for Monday at 2:30 pm. I received a phone call from the office Monday morning at 8:49 a.m. asking if I could be there earlier, as the Dr. was suddenly now going out of town. I was given a choice of 10:30 or 10:45. I explained that I had to drive 45 min to get there so I would take the 10:45 appt. time. By the time I got there (It took me 5 min to find my way around to the back of the building) something that would have been nice to know (as a new patient) I walked in at 10:50- The girl at the front desk ask if she could help me, I said I had an appointment with Dr. Zimmerman at 10:45. She then told me the Dr.was GONE! He LEFT! She said my appointment time was 10:30 and I told her NO it was at 10:45 and explained the discussion I had with (apparently someone else that was in the back.) I asked her if they ever thought to CALL ME and tell me that the Dr.decided to leave? She just looked at me. NO apology! NO- would you like to reschedule?! I'm 55 years old and have never had an experience with such an epically unprofessional staff! It's a direct reflection on the doctor!!! I have never heard of a Dr. walking out on a patient before!!! At this point it's been 3 days- I would've expected a phone call or some kind of apology for the inconvenience. But, NOTHING!! I'm shocked and appalled at the lack of care or concern that this Dr's office has shown me! I will be taking my troubled feet elsewhere!!!

Dr. Kukla was not new to me nor the other members of my family. He is an excellent doctor who explains everything very clearly. I always feel like I get great medical service when I see him. I feel he and his staff deserve the highest rating for the time I was there.

Their website says they are no longer taking new Medicaid patients and that's ok, just be upfront. When asked if they would take my other insurance BC/BS they said they would check to see if they had to file with Medicaid and would call back. They did not. If, they want don't want to take a particular insurance that's fine, no problem, just be professional that means straightforward.
