Wow, where do I start. I love thrift stores, some are dirty and some are very clean. This one is very clean, and looks inviting. I have been here many times. I walked in an saw a white board sign with a "progressive sale" information, written on it, At the bottom of the sign, it said "green 75% off", which is referring to the color of the label (tags), books were not included, and also being a Monday, clothes that had a "blue" tag were 49 cents. Fast forward to the checkout, I had found some items, that were "green" labeled,. I thought that I would check the white board sign, before checking out, guess what ??? it had entirely different information written on it. and my poor cashier, Mary was clueless to the original "green 75% off " sign. So she walked around to also see this sign. My daughter had just purchased $20 worth of stuff and was on her way out when she said to the young girl, employee, standing by the sign, they changed this sign, since we came in. The young girl said to my cashier supposedly away from my daughter's hearing, "She is just trying to stiff you", my cashier replied "she's standing right there". My cashier was very quiet to me and charged me some random prices, that weren't even 75% off, like way more. I think she wanted me out of the store. I left. I called the manager a little while later, and she kept rambling on about something??I finally asked her if she wanted to listen and hear my story of being in her store and her young employee and her inappropriate comments. I was frustrated after talking to this manager, who said she "would talk to this employee" . My biggest concern is this is supposed to be a Christian organization. 1. Cashier was not very informed. 2. Young employee inappropriate comments. 3. Manager who talks before she listens 4. Special white board needs to be reviewed by employees 6. Maybe I should take a picture of it before I shop???? read more
