We love the data based approach to keeping track of our health based on our personal baselines and monitoring for changes over time. Her attentive personal touch endears her to us. We are 50ish, and we love that she's not way older or way younger than us. So she can identify with other aspects of our well being because she can relate to some degree. We've always had positive experiences with her care and ability to address our needs. Someone posted something negative about the office or appointment processes. While it is her office, we feel the need to separate the two. The quality of care is most important. It would be great if the online scheduling had more near term availability, but we know the best way to get in quickly is to call. Otherwise if you're on online creature, you can get something out into the future if it's not urgent and you are able to wait 6+ weeks. The staff is friendly and will do their best to meet your needs. And they seem like they're always trying to make improvements on that front. But the care has always been outstanding for us.

After waiting two months for an appointment and…read morearriving twenty minutes early, only to walk around for eighteen minutes to find the correct door, I was told I had to reschedule because I didn't have a physics copy of my driver's liscense. My appointment was at 1:30, and since my husband and I live close, he was able to drive it over my physical liscense, and I had the card in the nurses's hand by 1:38. I hadn't even finished the second page of my paper work it was so fast. They still wouldn't let me have my appointment, and I left in tears, unsure what to do as I had a uti, and needed this appointment. Honestly, when doctors often make patients wait 30-40 minutes, and this doctor can't even excuse 8 minutes, I'm glad this won't be my family care doctor. Please avoid this doctor at all costs.

There was no chiding and no scorn: "just keep driving," the voice on the other side said patiently. "Let us know when you get here." I speeddemoned it over and they took him right away. I called and got a new patient appointment set quickly! Only 2 weeks out! I was asked to come in 15-20 minutes early for paperwork, and it only took about 10 minutes. Paid my co-pay and sat in the waiting room for only 10 minutes. Waited for the doctor a bit longer, but everyone was very friendly and helpful with all my questions, before seeing the doc. The doctor herself was very personable and easy to talk to. She answered all of my questions and took time with me. I did not feel like just a number. I really felt like she cared about my concerns. She's a keeper! The place itself was very clean and neat. Nicely decorated and many places to sit and wait. I think I'm gonna stay with those practice awhile!

I'm a patient that's suffered two high caliber head traumas, resulting in 4-5 skull fractures two…read moreseparate times the first 2015 and second 2017 the first being documented as a Traumatic Brain Injury. Second being just brain trauma, needless to say short term memory slips. I conveyed to the staff that I see the call one day prior as my life line backup to remind me of the scheduled appointment. 3-4 weeks out from a scheduled date I had it written down 3 separate places I see everyday and an alarm in my cell phone. Next thing you know I get a call stating I missed the appointment. I then again in tears reiterated to the office staff that call truly is crucial for me due to working 3rd shift home healthcare sleeping when I can, all on top of the brain injury. I thought the sincerity in my broken voice as I'm in a panic attack would somewhat show this call is crucial in my life. I rescheduled as they called telling them I had just woken up still 50/50 cognitive, needless to say me being half asleep while making this new appointment I forgot once again with not one call. Couple weeks go by and I receive a letter in the mail stating I'm "dismissed" as a patient after doing everything in my power to bring the attention of my life downfalls post accident. All in all now I'm two brain injuries and the dismissal from Dr. Barr basically blacklisted me from the ENTIRE network of Unity which is what my insurance covers within 15mi. This literally makes me upset to my stomach as I already live daily with the repercussions of skull fractures and trauma now the entire network denies me as a patient becoming more deficient on Thyroid/anxiety/and skin medicine because I did everything in my power to adhere to the rules of what I thought a call is mandatory every other office I've ever been to example my dentist, so my dentist is more professional than my Family Practitioner. This is appalling and quite honestly incredibly immature from my opinion. This is my DR!! The entire network so now have to drive 15+ miles for each check up because they have zero tolerance sympathy for someone with documented disabilities. This post has been the first time I can catch a full stretch breath as my anxiety is at a new level. I'm speechless this is even the case. By no means a recommendation I could condone any family member to join. -Chris
