I needed a chiropractor for an ongoing issue and gave this place a call. They were able to get me…read morein fairly quickly, but that's where the "good" about this place ended. The woman I spoke with about submitting my insurance had a misunderstanding about how deductibles work and told me I'd have to pay for the visit out-of-pocket, and wasn't very nice about it. I nicely explained to her that the deductible was met and she got snarky with me, saying that she spoke with my insurance company and I'd have to pay the full cost of the visit. No big deal, I could pay for it and get reimbursed later. She put me on hold, came back a minute later and said that I'd only have to pay 10% of the visit, which I had told her earlier, but she wanted to argue about. No apology or anything, and she kept speaking to me in that sickeningly-sweet condescending tone and using "sweetie" to be extra-annoying. I had to cancel the appointment for the simple fact that I would not want to have to deal with this woman at each appointment. It's a pity, the doctor could have been really good, but I'll never know because of how awful this woman was. Then again, if he knows how his office staff treat people (how could he not?), and he doesn't do anything about it, that says a lot, too.

And Bri is amazing too, always quick to respond and genuinely eager to help. I highly recommend FHC, especially if you feel awful and keep hearing "everything looks normal" or "we don't know why you feel this way." Afterwards I scheduled to have a consultation with him. Going to his office, I was amazed at the atmosphere. I enjoyed meeting the office attendant and getting settled to speak with Dr. Akiba Green. One thing I admired is that he listens. He listened to me speak about all the aches, pains, and concerns that have built up. He addressed many options we can use with functional medicine to find out what has been throwing my body out of whack. We had two consultations until my fiancé and I decided to put working with him on hold due to major life events occurring for us (We are getting married this year) and my inability to afford it out of pocket without enduring major financial stress. They have a payment options which is wonderful for others that are able to do so. That being said, I was reluctant to further work with Dr. Green because I personally had to decide on what financially would benefit my family this year. If you're interested to find out more about Dr. Green then schedule a consultation and introduce yourself. I do think if you're truly willing to invest in your health and have the means to do so that you'll be impressed with the knowledge he was accumulated over the years. You do have options and Dr. Green along will his staff will endorse that.
