I was honestly very disappointed with our visit on 12/14/2017. This is billed as a more "personal" experience however that was not what we received. We were a reschedule due to weather (iced roads), at first being told there would be no such thing, then they called us and set it up anyways.
Our daughter rarely ever cries, and has sat in the laps of costumed characters quite a bit. We were rushed through, told to sit down. Given poor instructions, my wife thought they wanted her to go up with our daughter and sit on Santa's lap. We thought we were getting a cute photo, or some creative shot. No, she was rudely told to get out of the way. Truthfully the photographer was rude, short, and aside from some sharp sit here, and get out of the way orders didn't even acknowledge us. We were there for an appointment BTW, but really felt like we had intruded.
The staff were all eating and ignored us when we arrived. An appointment mind you, I don't expect people to skip lunch or anything, but come on. Nobody assisted us at all, other than to come calling our name when it was our turn. We spent most of our time feeling lost. And the hot chocolate mentioned by so many other posters was not even offered and nowhere to be found.
Then the burst of quick photos was finished, and I mean one quick burst, we were hurried aside. The Santa Clause actually had to tell us to come back after the photographer had rushed us off so my daughter could at least pretend to interact with him. The Photographer acted disdainful toward my daughter for being upset. Had she been given even half a minute to get acclimated and not just thrown in and a bunch of lights flashed at her it would of been different.
My experience was nothing more than what you get at the mall, and honestly worse. Which we have gotten a nice smiling photo from. Where the people were nicer, and actually facilitated my kids experience VS grinding us through like some kind of profit mill.
Would I recommend, only if they actually give you the experience they advertise. Not a drafty warehouse with dirty tables of stale cookies ( I tried one and they were horrible and had been sitting out a long time), a rude photographer, and a rushed experience. read more
