Since we walk with the feet for a lifetime, it's important to have them checked on occasionally for any issues. Most of the time we don't seek out a foot specialist until we are in pain but that is unfortunately not the best approach. If you have a foot doctor that you have seen at least once, when you have that foot emergency you are likely to get in pretty quickly. I would much rather come here for a splinter or glass removal than going to an emergency room. When you see a foot issue, definitely treat it sooner than later. It makes any recovery needed a lot faster. Most of the topicals and scrubs etc available over the counter are just not strong enough to help with some foot situations. Dr. Anderson is very personable and gives you different options in your treatment. Like all doctors, she's not a miracle worker, so don't come in with mangled feet and expect to walk out looking perfect, but she can definitely help you on your way to better foot health.

Dr. Anderson was the penultimate clinician with a clear scientific vocabulary to identify my layman concerns. Dr. Anderson heard my explanations of the things that needed attention and she responded with perspectives on the possible solutions. The solutions varied and we talked about the consequences of each. I was completely satisfied with the outcome. Dr. Anderson took her time answering my questions. Dr. Anderson's assistant and staff were professional and displayed friendly interaction Dr. Anderson's office was comfortable and one of the highlights was the chocolates on the front counter. Concerned about your feet, walk, drive or run to see Dr. Anderson.

I had two appointments with him pre-surgery and he put me quite at ease with his bedside manner and competency. His staff was very nice and they too expressed that if they needed the surgery they would trust him to take care of them. So surgery was last Friday at UF North and of course like most doctors things were running behind so I had to wait my turn. No big deal except for being hungry. When it was time for surgery the anesthesia doctors were very nice and explained everything. I had a nerve block and then some sleepy time meds and the next thing you know I was done and in recovery asking for some snacks and ginger ale. The recovery nurse was so nice, she said I have chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin granola bars and my response was YES! She started laughing. I won't go into the pain etc, you can go to YouTube and see all the whiners about that stuff. One thing for sure, all this velcro on this sling and sling fanny pack thing is itchy as hell and someone should come up with something to cover this crap. Not sure using pantyliners is outdoor acceptable, but kitchen towels are too heavy and scarfs are too hot. Velcro...my only complaint!
