The fact is she was in such a rush to boot it out of there she LEFT it at the event site. The owner of Boro only found out about this after we were asked to write a review for a different site and my husband unearthed the whole story. That review was the first that he had heard of it. Lee was very kind and very helpful but all in all a year and a half later we are the wedding where the photographer left her camera and we had to leave our Brunch to try and track it down. If you can work with someone more competent for your wedding I say go for it. Lee seems like a fair business owner and went out of his way to reach out to us.

They followed 200 cyclists around for 3 days and could not have been more fabulous; flexible and non-invasive to our personal space. We hired them for our wedding, and had our engagement session last night - we had so much fun! Amanda is relaxed and played into our silly side. I cannot wait to see how our photos came out. She recommended a change of clothes, which I was unsure of, but she helped us to pick 2 outfits and we ended up doing more formal portraits and some outdoor jeans and T-shirts shots too. She walked the venue with us to get some inspiration for our wedding day. The engagement shoot confirmed that Amanda is a perfect fit for us and she gets our 'vision' for our wedding photos. Our engagement shoot was the first time me and my husband had ever taken professional portraits together so we had no idea how to pose naturally and kept going into fits of embarrassed giggling since we hadn't a clue on how we should act in front of a photographer. Amanda put us at ease and pointed us in the right direction so that our photos turned out wonderfully and they had that great "candid" and "effortless" appearance. Her personality is casual and efficient. She always had her eyes open for an interesting shot and her ears open to our suggestions. Loved her and will totally be using her again for our next family portraits!!

These sorts of events are difficult to manage with such an active crowd of teens! Job well done!

Then I stumbled across Sara's photoblog. It was obvious that she had talent. From her blog it appeared that she'd been a professional photographer for several years shooting primarily child/maternity/family sessions and was only recently breaking into shooting weddings. At the time she'd only shot one or two weddings but the results were fantastic. So I shot her an email to see about an engagement shoot. Not only did the photos for the engagement shoot turn out great but my fiance and I both felt very comfortable with her. She's sarcastic and has a great sense of humor like us so we were immediately at ease, and it shows in the photos. She was great with the turn around time, basically had them completely touched up and edited in the exact time she'd stated it would take. Since then she's done some more weddings and the photos posted on her website/photo blog demonstrate consistent high quality talent. Once we received our digital proofs we immediately decided we were going to sign on with her for the wedding. Her prices are more than reasonable, she's got boat loads of talent and you feel like you can be yourself while she snaps away. Highly recommend.

I recall all the hoopla we went through as a family when trying to decide on a photographer for my son's senior year yearbook photos. When you think about it, your high school senior picture is the one picture that more people will ever see of you I like to get recommendations from friends & family when I am looking for something new where I have little experience. My wife and I actively seek out online feedback from previous customers whenever possible. Previous customers are the most accurate measure of satisfaction possible, in my opinion. Therefore, I have no problem recommendations of my own when I have had positive experiences. I can tell you that after spending considerable time researching photographers, Studio Mark Emile was the CLEAR winner. Obviously he is a skilled photographer, but he also provided several other benefits that others could not or would not match: 1. He did a great job at putting my son at ease during the shoot. The photographer-subject banter brought out the best in images of my son. It wasn't a stale, sterile studio environment 2. Mark encourages the student to bring in props for the shoot. Although my son did not choose to go this route, Mark has photographed kids in ballet outfits, with their dogs, playing musical instruments... almost any hobby or sport the student wants to use. 3. Even better, Mark shoots "on location". He took my son around downtown Nashua and captured some great urban shots emphasizing New England nineteenth century brick structures. He also snapped some cool shots down by the river that goes through the city. He's been known to do shoots at beaches, in the woods, and almost any location provided it fits his schedule. Does your photographer do this? 4. Mark works directly with the school yearbook publisher so you don't have to worry about submitting files or missing deadlines. This is a very nice touch! 5. Finally, Studio Mark Emile offers a generous referral program. Only a few referrals and your session can be free! A student at Tony's school referred us. Let me put it this way: we will be using Studio Mark Emile again for our daughter for her senior yearbook photos. If you are in the market for a high school yearbook picture, or any family, wedding, or business photo... take a long look at Studio Mark Emile. You won't be disappointed! I believe he is the best photographer in NH! Here's a link to my blog post about Studio Mark Emile: https://www.empowernetwork.com/drmurray/?p=2795
