Ok, ok, I know. Major chain. But I am attempting to save anyone else for the massive time-wasting, self-esteem crushing fury-inspiring horror that is jeans shopping. Since my preferred brand has now gone into receivership, I recently spent a long and painful day trudging around being sneered at by lanky, unwashed clones as I tried to find a pair of jeans. As I am not an emaciated 13 year-old, 'superskinny' jeans do not fit me as I happen to have pesky things like hips and knees. I'm not interested in paying hundreds of dollars for designer jeans but nor do I want style-bypassed supercheap boxy nightmares. The staff in this shop in Penrith saved me. Firstly, they had more than one 'bootcut' option available. In fact they had a range of styles for all kinds of bodytypes, larger than I found elsewhere. The staff were genuinely helpful and didn't look like they'd been up for the past 3 weeks on various illicit substances. Found a pair of reasonable fit and quality and reasonable price.
