I don't usually take the time to write reviews, but JE Improvements truly deserves one. My husband and I recently moved to Lake Norman and wanted to transform our property into the perfect place to call our retirement home. We needed major landscaping work including removing our old lawn, installing new grass, plant installations, trimming bushes, and creating a beautiful patio space. After interviewing several companies in the area, a neighbor recommended JE Improvements and we are so glad they did.
Joseph came out on a weekend to personally walk the property with us, and instead of rushing through a quote, he took his time explaining what would work best, what season certain improvements should be done in, and how we could build our dream outdoor space step by step. He helped us transition from Bermuda to fescue, provided thoughtful guidance on plant selections, and really listened to what we wanted for our backyard vision.
The crew was fantastic polite, organized, clean, and respectful. They even greeted our family warmly while we had visitors in town and worked comfortably around our dogs, which meant a lot to us. Joseph checked in every single day to make sure we were happy with the progress, and his communication was outstanding throughout the entire project. His accountant, Courtney, even took extra time to gather and bring us material and plant samples so we could be confident in our choices.
After our planning discussions, Joseph and his team provided a professional 3D design showing exactly how everything would look and true to his word, the project began the very next week. The finished result is absolutely beautiful and exceeded our expectations.
What impressed us even more is that JE Improvements offers far more than landscaping. They pressure washed our entire home, installed lighting around our dock, and have continued maintaining our property. During the winter, they even provided driveway icing and plowing services something we never expected but greatly appreciated.
This company is more than just a landscaping business. Joseph is a driven, professional, and passionate young entrepreneur with a clear vision, and it shows in the quality of his work and his team. We are incredibly happy and grateful, and JE Improvements will always be our first choice. We look forward to working with them for many years to come read more
