She originally quoted me $345 after my car was towed on Thursday night. She then stated I could not drive my car off the lot and that it would be an additional $200 for them to tow it. They also gave me a contract to sign stating the storage fee was $50 per day. When I pointed out that that goes against the maximum rates they have posted, the staff person told me that was a "good catch" by me and he would fix it. I shared this with the woman who told me that it was obviously a mistake and I should get over that. When I called today after repeated negative interactions trying to find a way to get my car out of their lot, she yelled at me because I questioned their pricing scheme and asked for a price breakdown based on the Stafford Township, Ocean County, and NJAC ordinances. They have both Stafford Township and Ocean County posted in their office. She screamed that I was the one being difficult and I didn't understand how the ordinances work. She said NJ Administrative Codes do not apply to them. Then told me I could not pay over the phone, so I would have to commute two hours to allow my car to be removed. When I got there, she yelled at me again, called me difficult, and told the other worker that I wasn't understanding the ordinances that they have posted. When I pointed out the differences in the legally admissible charges and what she had quoted me since Thursday, she said that I didn't understand what she was saying. She refused to give an itemized invoice twice. She also quoted the person next to me $850 for their tow and winching without providing any invoice. I'm not sure if it is just the people who were working or if it is a pattern for the company to not provide itemized invoices to customers and scream at those who ask for a pricing breakdown, but the experience I just had was the worst customer experience I have ever had. I would also like to stress that I did not request the tow, the Stafford Township PD did, and this is how this woman acted. I work a customer service job. I understand that customers can be wrong. What I don't understand is how they took the opportunity of a car being totaled to repeatedly attempt to overcharge a customer, scream at them multiple times, and accuse them of being difficult for asking for a price description and how that pricing scheme fits into mandatory maximums as required by law. I highly recommend going to Midnite Towing. A complaint has been filed with New Jersey Division of Consumer Affairs.

100 %. Trustworthy, good value and friendly customer service..I went to Ernie who is such a great…read moreguy bc they have worked on my father's antique f100 for pickup and he recommended them. I needed an oil change and he discovered that mh rear tires were bald like really zero tread . K explained to him that those two tires were replaced after being flat by causeway Nissan. They replaced the tires and suggested a front wheel alignment (clearly a stupid mechanic) bc they actually needed to fix the rear alignment which were where the flats were...I paid 250 bucks only to later find out that they were incompetent, Ernie saw the rear alignment was off and explained why the 2 replaced tires were bald after 1,000 miles.. He never pushed me to get the work done by him he actually suggested I i go back to the deal bc bad work was done. I called my dealership where I bought the one year old car and service manager confirmed serial numbers and records that the rear tires were replaced and the front instead of the rear was suooosed to be done. I left two voicemails with the service manager at causeway and got no response. Don't ever buy or deal with these people.. Ernie was so helpful and proves his trustworthiness and I couldn't recommend a place more. He's done excellent work on my father's antique truck and treated us both fairly and is an awesome guy..thanks Ernie

BEWARE: Parkertown Car Care…read more I brought my jeep in for an alignment and had gear lube leaking from the front axle. I was quoted $750-$800 for the job including replacing a u-joint as they recommended. After being pushed off each day, I finally got my jeep back a week later "fixed and riding well". I went to pickup and was hit with an $1,100 bill as they replaced the other u-joint as well. I walk out to my jeep and one of my hub caps is missing, Nick claims it somehow was already missing a bolt when I brought it in and it's only secured with two bolts so he left it in the cab (not sure how it would've been attached with one bolt missing when I dropped it off, but whatever it's one bolt) 2 minutes into my drive home, the steering wheel is shaking hard and I thought ok, I have to bring it back to readjust the alignment. I go out to my jeep the next morning and there's gear oil on my driveway leaking from the same spot as when I first dropped it off. At this point, I realize the shop is likely incompetent for this type of repair and I start worrying what other bolts/screws are missing that I can't see. The opposite hub cap has mismatched bolts, and the back hub was tightened too much and cracked. I go back to the shop and offer to pay for the u-joints parts + labor and any parts/oil they used to "fix" my leak but request my money back for the labor that went into a repair that is no better than when I first dropped it off. I no longer trust their competence in opening my jeep back up. Nick tells me the owner is off in the Bahamas and won't check his phone for another week, so I'm out of a car until then unless I'd like him to try and fix it again. Nick is a really nice guy, but I think he bit off more than he could chew with the repair. I wish they would've told me that from the start, or owned up to providing poor workmanship. I'm now out $1,100 and have to pay another shop for all of the same repairs. I'm sure they could handle an oil change, but anything more than that I would not advise bringing your vehicle here.
