This was a very very nice JCPenny's. I was out of town visiting my daughter in the Bay Area and her mother in law suggested this location. She said that it's always clean, well stocked and the employees are always nice and helpful . Well, after shopping there Fri myself I couldn't agree more. We found everything we were looking for and a lot more . The employees were very helpful and the cashier who rang us up helped make sure that we used all of couple to ensure we got every savings possible. The lines were long (to be expected , it was Black Friday) but moved very quickly . My only complaint was that they no linger offer shopping carts or bags. Ate hands and arms were so full that we literally had to put everything down in a display and take turns looking after it as we each took turns shopping. It was a huge inconvenience. I really enjoyed coming to this store!! My partner needed to buy a few things and we were able to find everything here. It's a very big store (can spend a lot of time walking around looking at what's available) with lots of good deals. Also something I didn't know is that there's a JCPenney x Haribo collaboration so there were a lot of cute clothes with Haribo bears on them (definitely check it out if that's your style. One of my favorite stores, today I went to shop a JC Penney and bought about $500 worth of clothe and shoes. there clothe range from cheaper to very good quality material. I like the variety in clothe shoes, and purses. I want to give a shout out to our clerk Mrs Kamlesh. for all of the help and courtesy she gave us. I was thoroughly disappointed. Eastridge is ghetto but I went here for dress clothes. I bought one a few years ago, a Stanford brand white collared button down shirt--it was great quality and had no problems but unfortunately I grew out of it. I went back recently and found the most diabolical sets of clothing known to man. Thin, itchy feel, terrible stitching, and for $50??! I don't think so honey. Staff looked tired too. They don't get paid enough to deal with this. JCPenney corporate should be ashamed and put these people (employees and customers alike) out of their misery. JC Penny delivered the two new mattresses I ordered without hauling away the old mattresses which was promised online. This is showing on my order: Package 1 of 2 Shipped Free Haul Away Qty: 2 $0.00 Date Shipped: 05/24/2025 I called customer service right away, the answer is the mattresses I ordered are in a box, no haul away service. My question is why they don't post the notice online? when I process the order, the free hual away option is automatically there. I come here for one reason & one reason only!! My visits here are simply to check out the shoe department for kids. While the styles aren't the greatest and a majority of the looks aren't my cup of tea, there are always a pair or two that catch my eye. WHO DOESNT LOVE THEMSELVES A DISCOUNT OR TWO??! There is always some kind of sale going on so I never pay full price for my purchases. Bargains in shoes are a must when you have a monstrous toddler who likes to climb, jump, & destroy her belongings unknowingly. Lmao. Bonus points for Lucia @ the check out register!! She was quick to help ring us up and was very courteous throughout the entire process. I have been a loyal customers of JcPenny for over 20 years. Everytime when I need to add new curtains to my home, I thought of JcPenny. However, due to JcPenny's store location and return policy and fees, I want to share my frustration with your return process. First of all, you cannot charge your customers $8 for each item to be returned. Most big retail companies now have partnership with retail locations to drop off their returns. Your company should consider that. Secondly, you need to be clear on your company policy on returns that each item will cost your customer $8 per return if they cannot physically return to the storey. Lastly, you need to be considerate that no all items can fit into one box because of different dimensions. And your customer service rep gave me the wrong answer that all items returned will just be $8. Imagine if you were in my shoes. Thank you for your consideration. read more

The website says this store is the only one that has stock for what i'm looking for. I tried to call and apparently no one knows the word "nerf" and can't understand what i'm asking. Then they set the phone down and left me for 5 minutes while chatting and laughing in the background. I gave up. I'm gonna make the trip down there and hope the website is accurate... and that I don't have to deal with anyone wasting my time. She kept making mistakes and kept pulling my hair. I have gotten my photos done at JcPenney plenty of times in the past and I value their work and pricing. I scheduled my appt for 4:45pm, which the website allowed me to do (they close at 5pm) and was there on time. They were running a little behind so we had to wait as there is only one studio and one photographer, which is understandable. When my family and I got ready for our session, the photographer stated that since it was past 5 o clock, the session would be quick which I was not happy about since we did get there on time and I was allowed to make an appt at 4:45pm; why should I now have to be rushed since they were running behind schedule. She later corrected herself and apologized because she assumed we were late for our session. I still believe she was ready to go and was not enthusiastic in making our experience a good one. She did take some decent photos so I can't complain about that, it was just our first interaction which rubbed me the wrong way. Anthony, then took care of us and went through our photos and helped me chose cards to order. He was very informative and I did not feel rushed through that process. They are very strict about appts - someone showed up at 5:15 and they could not accommodate so be mindful of that. read more

Can I give less than one star? I purchased a dining room set from Penneys for over $1200. I have had this set for less than 2 weeks and everything was fine until this morning. I came into the room and there was a 2-1/2 inch crack on the top of the back of one of the chairs. Penney's wants a $125 restocking fee and a $95 return fee because I did not report this within 24 hours of delivery. So they do not stand behind the producet. Deals come and go here fairly regularly, but if you keep an eye out for back to school and summer sales, you can save yourself quite a bit of money. This location is very clean but is also very quiet, I have wandered around all of their floors many times and have only ever seen a handful of sales people. I would have rated them at least 3 stars, but the fact that their men's restrooms don't ever have soap or dispensers is always very odd to me. You would think that especially right now with so many viruses traveling around that they would want to do everything they could to maintain cleanliness, but I guess it's just not that high up on their list. read more

Well, I decided to do business with JC Penney this time instead of order from other places. MY MISTAKE! Next day after I ordered all the items they went down in the price. So, I chatted with a sales rep to request the new price to be honored to me. The guy said NO! So, I said how bad. That's not all. Today I received my order in two different shipments delivered 5 hours appart. First shipment was supposed to contain a suit jacket an a tie valued around $180, instead I received 2 sweat hoods, no more than $60. Then I called them and even when they made the error they are charging me $8 for the return shipment. The second shipment contained the correct items, which are useless as the first shipment went all wrong. Now I have to go to a JC Penney store 32 miles away to see what is going to happen there. There was a mouse or cockroach glue trap out In the open where anyone can step in it. My little sister stepped in it and almost got stuck in it. There was also a dead cockroach on it which was disgusting to just look at. They should really not leave these things out in the open because a small Child can touch it or get stuck on it. We went shopping in Eastridge and decided to check this store for good deals. We were looking for deals on outdoor shorts for my hubby and found one for $9.99. We also found a purple stripe neck tie for $3.79....sweet!! The only thing that bothered me is the lack of employees going around the store. Except for the 3 ladies on the check out counter the place looked somewhat deserted...even on a weekend. There were no enough sizes to choose from but then again we were looking at the clearance rack...what can I say...I am drawn that way! read more

If I could give 0 star, I would. My parents went curtain shopping here on August 20th for curtains. The associate was helping them out was rude. My parents aren't fluent in English, but they could carry a basic convo. My mom said the associate was yelling at them at every question that they had. My mom got fed up and said she will just go home and order it online. The associate turned around and told my parents "DO NOT COME BACK HERE AGAIN." This review is for the Hair Salon at Eastridge. I went in for a consultation, a walk in and there wasn't a time until later in the day. Jessica came out and asked if I needed a consult and I said yes. My hair is long to my waist, white and silver in the front and grey in the back. I told her I wanted to brighten up my color. Long story short, she said I would ruin the beautiful hair I have. She was so honest. She asked another stylist her opinion about highlighting more in the back, low and high. She said the Highlight's would turn yellowish, which is in no way I'd want that. HONESTY is what this stylist and manager is all about!! I'll be going to her for a face framing soon. The hairdresser I seen 7/16 Alicia I give her 5++++ Stars the the manager I seen bully, call Security 2 accompany her to ask an employee to set a a table and do a demo which to me was unnecessary she deserves -0 Stars . I seriously thought someone stole something or something bad was occurring ... she needed Security for no reason ... the employee she was approaching looked shocked , embarrassed .. I felt bad for her no one should be mistreated at work especially 2 that extent ...
