Backstory - my cat had peed several times in one of our bedrooms/ office. We kept the door closed…read moreso she couldn't do it anymore and tried to clean it ourselves with baking soda and vinegar. We don't use the room a lot so it wasn't too bad. But then we were having guest and they would be sleeping in there on an air mattress so we wanted the carpet cleaned. Most people don't call about one room. And everyone was quoting me well over 100$. The only place that wasn't was a big chain cleaner with a groupon. And even so most kept saying they would have to see and smell it before giving a final price. I saw an add for Turbo steam on the fence of a body yard and decided I'd give him a call. I explained the problem and he gave me a fair price with a very small window a variance. So I booked. He came and was quick, thorough and got the carpet super clean. He used a special enzyme for the cat pee. And when we moved the filing cabinets there was rust stains from us trying to clean around them. I thought he was going to charge more. Nope! He said nothing just went and got his special rust cleaner and cleaned it up. When he was leaving he even noticed a coffee stain on my entry way tile and gave it a quick scrub for funzzies. This is we're it gets good. Before he left he sprayed a little extra enzyme. As the days pasted the strong smell lingered and I got very worried. I called him and asked if he could come back again and shampoo the carpet to get more of the enzyme out because I procrastinated and had him come less then a week before the company arrived and I didn't have time to let the smell dissipate on its own. He came back without hesitation and charged nothing. And all this was 2 weeks before Christmas. The only criticism I can give is he isn't very chatty. People don't get their carpet cleaned very often and even though he knew what he was doing I did not. It would have been nice if he walked me around the room and said this is what I am going to do and use and here is the process and what to expect before starting. But I'm sure if I had been more present and inquisitive he would have explained. I wish I had taken before and after picture. Great local family owned small business!!!!
