I'm extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from this company. After paying $1,336 for a freezer repair in September, the same issue has happened three times since. I've called five times, left an online support message, and even reached out directly to the technician. Yet I haven't received any assistance. What's worse is that I was told a manager would contact me after the technician admitted that the service protocol wasn't followed, and still nothing. No inspection, no update, no accountability. At this point, I've lost trust in the company's service and customer care. I'm leaving this review in the hopes that management will finally take responsibility and do the right thing by addressing this situation properly. read more

Avoid at all cost! They charge a service fee for them to come out, by the hour, $200 and their quotes and prices are super high. I didn't want to buy a new commercial refrigerator so I had them do the service, but 1 week later, the refrigerator stopped working and I called them out cause they told me they offer a "warranty." They came out and said something else was broken and charged me again, over $1200 for a really old refrigerator. I said no way. They tried lowering the quote but it was still so expensive. I rather throw away the refrigerator then fix it. Don't know why they think anyone would be dumb to pay $1200 that is basically half the price of a new refrigerator. Don't get scammed by them! Absolute life saver! My AC died on me during the hottest day of the year! Many HVAC companies were back-logged so I started poking around and discovered a bad capacitor on the outside unit. After calling around, no one had it in stock and it would've taken days to get it on Amazon. Meanwhile, it was over 100 degrees outside and we were baking in our house! I called JC HVAC and they invited me down after mentioning he had some capacitors. When I arrived, he handed me the part, gave me a few pointers, and let me have the capacitor for free! He totally saved us the torture of days either waiting for the part to be shipped and/or for an opening for a technician to work on it. We called the business and scheduled and confirmed an appointment. We waited 15 minutes with no updates from them so we reached out asking for an ETA which they said they would call us back for. We then proceeded to wait another hour past our appointment time with no updates, no call back, or anyone to help. We called back a second time with the same answer that they would call back with an ETA. We waited over an hour with no help or updates and ended up choosing a different business. Fast attentive and communicative on the job needed to be done

I hired them to repair my fridge and they were available to come the same day I called which I was thankful for. Two men came and said there was an issue with the defroster in my fridge. They charged me 400+ for the repair and placed a sticker in the fridge with a number to call if there were any issues. He said I had a 90 day warranty. Four days later my fridge wasn't working anymore. It wouldn't get cold Inside. I called and first they tried to charge me 75 dollars to come out. Once I got them to bypass that, an appointment was set for the following day. The next day they were a complete no show. No call, nothing! I'm very disappointed! I will update this when it is resolved as I'm awaiting to hear back from them. read more

Called and called them for follow up. 12/13: Jose arrives, walks to the oven, announces 'the office' made a mistake and it's the wrong part. The good: they came to repair my A/C unit on one of the hottest days of summer, with a same-day appointment. The workers were courteous, competent, and gave me an extended warranty at no cost. The not so good: I was charged close to $400 for basic A/C unit service, a price WAY higher than the nationwide average. The only part replaced was a $20 capacitor, and the job took about 40 minutes. My 9 year old refrigerator suddenly stopped cooling yesterday. Based on the Yelp rave reviews I called JC, he came out by 11:00 AM today and quickly diagnosed the problem (burned out relay) replaced it with a part he had on the truck, and got me making cold air. I had them come to my residence to fix an Electrolux front load washer that was leaking from the door.They replaced the bellow and it leaked immediately after they left. I was able to get them as they were leaving and they tried to fix it again. The next day it leaked again. They said I had a 90 day warranty. I called Jose back and he said he would be out again on Weds. between 8am and 10am. They did not show or call. They were friendly but it looked like they didn't really know how to fix the washer which is probably why they didn't come back. I'm going to use another company to try to fix the leak. read more

After putting up with a malfunctioning refrigerator dispenser, dish washer door, built in micro wave door, I decided to make a few calls to get some pricing and scheduling times that worked for me as I work away from home. I found JC appliance had the best estimated cost and accommodated my schedule. I was impressed when the owner Juan Jimenez arrived on time, and presented himself in a pleasant and professional manner. Juan assessed the problems I advised him of, getting right to work taking apart the components and insuring proper repairs and parts would resolve my concerns and some I was un aware of. He then replaced the components and got on the phone and ordered the parts. We rescheduled for the repairs, again he was on time and repaired everything to work like new and the bill was under what was estimated. I would gladly recommend JC Appliance to anyone and have on several occasions.
