They delivered a dishwasher from Costco.. they kept the scheduled time. Installed it perfectly, they did very thorough job. 3 guys came in, once done they cleaned and inspected the install. Very happy.. Reading all the negative reviews I was expecting differently but they they surpassed my expectations. I understand stuff happen. Their scheduling call center does have a long hold time. I would have given full 5 stars only if they did not take some hardware and screws from my old dishwasher by mistake, which I asked them not to take (haul away was included in Costco package). read more

Jb Hunt Transport - Romulus, Michigan

Definitely not a very good experience. We ordered a whirlpool washing machine almost 2 months ago and still have yet to see our machine. I sat at home all day yesterday expecting a delivery and nothing no updates, which indicates poor customer service.. read more

Very rude driver, acting like a big shot trying to intimidate people because he didn't want to pay a vehicle fare. Bragging he's worth 30 million dollars. I see before the lawsuit from not paying employees they were worth 45 million, pays to treat others with kindness. read more

This company contracts with Lowe's for installation and delivery. I paid money for them to haul this away. They left it in the street without saying a word I had to use the rest of my time to get a refund and take the thing to the dump myself then I called and they were assholes. They were two men in a truck with a liftgate. This would've been so much easier. read more

Incredibly rude delivery driver. Blocked neighbors driveway. There was plenty of room not to do that. Gave the neighbor a hard time. Told me "I don't work on his (neighbor's) time." Kept being rude. "I've got a 26 ft truck. I only got 30 minutes. Someone's gonna get blocked. I don't know how you can expect a delivery without blocking it. I don't know what the problem is." I asked why they didn't already move the truck, they said "Can't you see this heavy thing?" They moved the truck then told me "Now I'm blocking someone else's driveway." They weren't blocking anyone after they moved. There was plenty of room. They only had to pull forward 5ft. Every comment was belligerent for no reason. No one was mean to him. I told them to cancel before they got in the house and made things worse. read more

Would leave negative stars if I could. I would put every employee who I dealt with for my delivery and appliance pick up out of work if I could. I would shut down this whole company if I could. From the delivery and "inability" to hook up my appliance, to refusing to come back for my old appliance after I had to pay a plumbing company over $500 to turn a valve and hook up the new oven, to the people on the phone who constantly talked over me, made up excuses, flat out lied, hung up on me, refused to apologize for what happened, I hope every single person on manager Jocelyns team with JB Hunt is fired. Now I'm left with a broken oven in my kitchen before the holidays, and no refund as of yet. Shame on you Jocelyn and shame on Lowes for contracting with a disrespectful company. read more

Incredibly unprofessional. They were supposed to deliver a washer and dryer for my 85 year old mother in law. When they arrived they pointed out a door needed to be removed for it to be installed. My wife had me remove the door which took only about five minutes and when she went out to find out what they were doing, they shouted from the cab of their truck "call Lowes" and drove off. They were there less than 15 minutes, but reported to their dispatcher and Lowes that they waited for thirty minutes. My mother in law cannot go the weekend without us needing to do laundry. Even if they felt they couldn't install the washer/dryer if they had simply talked with us we would have had them unload the washer and dryer and we would have installed it, but they never gave us the chance. Last time we buy stuff from Lowes. They tolerate these horrific subcontractors. This will be the third time we have had to reschedule due to their negligence. Both my wife and I have taken two days off to meet them, and now we need to sit around on Sunday hoping someone shows up. read more

They came to deliver a gas dryer from Lowe's and told us they couldn't do it because the gas line was moving and we needed to call a plumber. We called a plumber to the tune of $125 and the plumber told us nothing was wrong. So they cost us $125 for nothing. NEVER buy an appliance from Lowe's and NEVER have JB Hunt install it. They do not know what they are doing! There's a reason this company has terrible reviews! read more

Absolutely terrible, im on my 3rd attempt to get my old refrigerator out of my kitchen. I paid for removal while they were setting up my new refrigerator (bad idea I told them I'd do the installation) they said no we do not work for lowes we work for JB hunt. 2nd attempt it just started snowing, I removed the snow and salted the whole area, they drove off without saying a word. The punk driver doesn't want to work, JB needs to hire folks that aren't afraid to work. No skills in installation, no motivation to do anything and excuses for all. Well third attempt happens tomorrow morning, I cant wait to get this refrigerator out of here and wipe my ass with these lazy ass kids. read more

4 delivery attempts and 1 messed up service call! I do not recommend J&B Hunt as a delivery service!!! If J&B Hunt s the only company that Lowe's deals with as their third party delivery service, I will not be buying a$1,000+ stove from them ! Fisrt Delivery Attempt: No Call/No Show Second Delivery Attempt: Fridge will not fit Third Drlivery Attenpt: Same Fridge that did not fit the first time redelivered with the fridge doors off! Fourth Delivery Attempt: J&B Hunt Employee does not believe me, the customer, that the doors of a different smaller size fridge needed to be removed prior to delivery. J&B Hunt Employee measures 3 times before angrily removing fridge doors in my driveway! After placing fridge in the kitchen, I asked J&B Hunt Emoloyee about leveling the new fridge and he said, "it didn't need leveling!" 30 days later, a Service Call was booked from Noon to 4pm through Lowe's and JB Hunt confined the same time the night before to level the new fridge after the vegetable bin compartment keeps sliding forward when the new fridge door is open! Well, I got a missed call at 9:53am that J&B Hunt is 15 minutes away and after one hour I looked at my outdoor camera feeds and no one had been to my door or rang the doorbell and when I called Lowes back to verify the right address and to ask why I would get a call 2 hours before the 4 hour delivery window and complained that I took a day off of work to be here for the service call to correct what should have been fixed upon delivery 30 days ago with a leveler! The Managers of J&B Hunt and Lowe's agreed that the drivers should come back out during the scheduled delivery time. However, based on the fact that the driver told me that they had come to a fictitious house, not mine and that I needed to reschedule (take another day off of work) was just too much for me and I cancelled based on the way I was treated and a total disregard of my time and the fact that there still is no evidence that the driver came to my house! read more

Jordan B. Transportation made a delivery pursuant a fence installation, leaving three large stains and lines over 70' long of hydraulic oil on my concrete driveway. The driver offered to come by the same day to power wash but didn't show. He then offered to do so the next day during the fence installation. Unreal. Moreover, the fence installer told me I was the third such mess in a row. This was all under a Lowe's contract. read more

Horrible delivery company. They contact to deliver products for Lowe's and they suck BIG TIME! Lowe's needs to do contacting with them. I've had two occasions now where they have drivers who claim to call you but don't and also they dial the wrong number. They show up well before it after scheduled times. Pathetic service. Had a window given to me for deliver of 1030 as m-230pm and the driver claims he called and showed up at 742 which is even before their 8am window also. Sat and waited at my home from 8am until 230 before calling and then being told they came at 745 and once they do that they don't come back! So it's my fault you first dial the wrong number then you show up two hours before the scheduled time. Okay... Yeah it's my fault. Not ordering anything else from Lowe's just to not deal with them. This is the worst delivery experience I have ever had. If I could give negative stars I would! This company is contracted to deliver for a major home improvement store. You also have an option for haul off and installation but don't bother paying for that because they won't do it. I had to insist on the haul off after I had to disconnect our old washer/dryer myself then they just left the new one in the middle of the floor. My sister and I had to muscle it into place. We also had to go back to the store for the hook up kit that we had paid for because they didn't bring them like they were supposed to. We also got a refund for the installation. This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. read more

Originally given a 12 hour window for delivery? Wow. The day before it was narrowed down to 4 hours - would have been nice to know this was going to happen beforehand. Driver calls at gate, having arrived 10 minutes after saying he was 25 minutes out. I hurriedly corralled cats into a secure area. Meanwhile drived about beats door knocker thru the door - I guess the doorbell was too obvious and demur for this tough guy. I ask why he is so impatient, he says, you knew I was here. I guess he felt entitled to being met at the door. Then he asks to see where the delivery is to go to. I show him the room, about 20 feet from the door. He says they will leave at first air conditioned room. Nice. I guess just nosy. This delivery was on behalf of Lowes. I called them and they confirmed the policy for some items. Others not. Kind of random. Main reason I picked Lowes was because on two prior deliveries the items were taken exactly where I requested, although apparently not in the category that merited that. Guess I got lucky with those deliveries. Will look for a company with better delivery subcontractors. read more

Literally the worst experience I have had with a delivery. Lowes just lost a long term customer due to the absolute incompetence of it's delivery contractor. read more

2 scheduled deliveries of my dryer and 2 refusals. Delivery guys (same both times) has asthma and doesn't want to go in my basement. Have informed Lowe's this needs to be delivered and hooked up today or I will be there for a full refund and take all my business to Home Depot. I am done, worst service ever! read more

These people do not hire nice workers. I ordered a mattress and they were set to deliver it 3 weeks after I bought it. Already thought that was a little long to wait but it was my only option. I called about 2 weeks in asking if there was any way I could get it earlier, I bought this new mattress because I have horrible back pain. They said no, they're on a strict schedule. So I have several nights of horrible sleep and I am literally counting down the nights I have left until I can have a good sleep. I get a call the morning of the delivery, and they said their delivery was going to be a day late. A day late?! They scheduled 3 weeks out and still couldn't make a deadline? Needless to say I was very disappointed, and said I was calling tempurpedic. I said, I made it clear I need this mattress ASAP, and you made it clear your schedule was rigid, obviously, it isn't. And she made some more rude comments and said "it will be there Saturday, that's the soonest it can be there". Now, mind you, this woman was very rude, not sympathetic and cocky. I said, I'm calling tempurpedic to tell them your over schedule, and I might just cancel my order ". And she said," hey lady, don't bother ill just cancel it now for you. " I couldn't believe it! I said no, don't cancel it I want to tell tempurpedic about your service. I said bye hung up, and immediately got a call from her supervisor saying they'd make a special trip. I hope their truck drivers are nicer than their secretaries. Because this should have never taken so long, and then when I complained I shouldn't have gotten talked to so very rudely. read more

Worst delivery company EVER!!! I ordered a Whirlpool dishwasher, and had to wait 15 days for the first one to be delivered. It arrives and is damaged, and has to be returned. They deliver the SECOND dishwasher, and it is also damaged! Do NOT ever use this company. Gorillas would do a better job handling stuff. read more

The delivery people were very nice and efficient. However the call center and scheduling department is the worst. They expect a 8-9 hour wait time. The automated call did not leave a message for my delivery window. After a 15 minute wait time for their call center to answer after 7 pm and nothing posted on their tracking shipment page I assumed that the afternoon deliver I requested was in place. Imagine my surprise after taking time off work to see them at my door at 8:50 am. I was able to call on and reschedule my work. When I called to inquire about this they said sorry but that's how it is Terrible customer service and accountability. Don't seem to care about making it right . read more
