To prepare, we met with him to review with us a chronological agenda of what we wanted to do and types of music to play. Since we have obviously never celebrated such an event before, he gave us some ideas as we formed the agenda. He included a version of the wedding game which was very enjoyable for all and even created the forms for all of the contestants to complete. He also played our favorite 90's music. Next, he was very attentive and allowed us to text him in preparation of the event. He even humored me and played my requested music as a background to my vow as I presented them to my wife. Which was awesome by the way! Then on the day of the event, he was only paid for six hours but came two hours early to the venue to set up since he takes pride in his work. He did an amazing job at our event. From his preparation , his professional attire and his equipment set up/decor was outstanding. The white coverings he used to cover his speakers and table were perfect and matched well with our event. He allowed our officiant to use a lapel mic that was very clear and made it easy for our guests to enjoy the ceremony. Finally, he is just one of those genuine people who you appreciate working with. Not to mention, his price is very reasonable. We will definitely call on him again and are already spreading the word about him to friends, family and here on social media. Thank you Jeremy for not just being a PROFESSIONAL but for the memories that you provided for our event.

My, now wife, and I were looking for a company to do both DJ and lighting for our wedding. We met…read morewith a series of vendors before coming to Props FX. We are very glad we didn't just jump at any vendor. In our research we found the prices for Lighting and DJ combos to be all over the place for pretty much the same service. We met with Ammon and instantly had a personal connection to him and liked what he and his company had to offer. He was more than willing to work with our budget, while still caring about how the venue would like and sound like. We were able to find a happy medium cost-wise and Ammon did his best to throw in even more than was promised because he cared about how the end product looked and sounded like. On the wedding day, both my, now wife, loved how everything looked and sounded. We had two rooms in our venue and we discussed having the main dining room feel "warmer." So Ammon suggested some nice soft pink uplighting along the walls while the other room was more of party room where where the colors were more of a deep purple. In regards to the music, Ammon offered a lot of great suggestions for specific music for different moments of the wedding which was very helpful. Once the dance floor opened, he did a great job of keeping the energy and the party going. He even ended up running the music longer because people kept dancing...a lot of the credit goes to him on that! The last dance of the night was the same song as our first dance....which was a very nice tough. Again, great experience and highly recommended.

We contacted Genesis Florez and she helped us set up our vision for the music portion of our celebration. She asked us what we needed, asked us questions about the set up for the hall that the reception took place in. She answered all of our questions and was upfront about the cost and what was included in the contract. After all questions from both sides were answered and expectations were set we were sent the contract and we signed it quickly via easy to navigate electenic signature. We also paid the invoice that was sent. After all of that there was a phone conversation with the DJ Jason Amaton, he wanted to make sure he had a complete idea of the type of music we wanted played. He was so nice. The day of the event he was ready to go and did an amazing job. He not only played all the music my dad loved, he made sure to bring a personal touch to his performance. He played and mixed the songs using my dads records. This was so special to us. His mixing and transitions were on point! Keep in mind he didnt know what records we were bringing to the hall, and he flawlessly kept the celebration upbeat. He also did a great job facilitating announcements, a slide show and multiple performances that we had planned for the reception. The day was difficult for us, but having Jason there to bring our vision to life was worth every penny. We will be using him again for our next family gathering.
