It was a blessing in disguise because I wasn't suppose to see Dr Slaughter but am I happy I did because he listened to me telling me my horrific story of my suffering for over 3 years to the point I didn't want to live that way in pains and he stayed over an hour with me and said he would do surgery it was like music to my ears. He performed surgery and when I woke-up I could feel the difference it was like a weight had been lifted off my shoulders and now I can live a normal life again thanks to Dr. Slaughter I am forever grateful to have been blessed with such a caring, sympathetic doctor.

My husband and I went to Princeton Surgical Associates to see Dr. Sambol on Oct 6, 2025. His…read more10-minute consultation was a waste of our time and money. After waiting an hour (part spent in their general waiting room and part spent in their examination room), we got to meet Dr. Sambol. He entered their examination room, and he shook my hand hard. At that point, I knew he wasn't gentle enough for me if I needed surgery. As far as cost: Princeton Surgical Associates wouldn't even tell us the cost of their consultation, not before we booked our appointment and not even after we left the consultation and approached their billing person. Apparently, they send you a bill well after the visit. Eventually, we learned that Princeton Surgical Associates had billed our insurance $250, for a rushed 10-minute consultation, plus $25 for compression socks. But the compression socks were useless for me; apparently, they were the wrong size. And I suspect this was the case because the socks were about six inches away from just under my knee, and my foot was blanched white, indented and it looked like it was full of fluid. (I'm thinking: If Dr. Sambol can't assess the correct size and weight of compression socks, how well does he perform surgery?) So, concerned about my foot, I called their nurses' station, and left phone messages several times. I received a hurried callback saying, "returning your call." Of course, I called back several times, but no nurse called me back to actually "address" my concern. I then sent a text to their office manager/owner, but no response from this person, either. Over a month later, I hear from Dr. Sambol telling me to find compression socks on my own---which begs the question: What Am I Paying Him For?
