Technically we caught this place's food truck but boy was it amazing! I ordered the Steak Peuhle (sp?) and ordered a second plate to take home for the midnight munchies. Sooo good but a tad bit expensive - perhaps not considering the location.

This food truck did not disappoint! Amazing poké, wraps and burgers! Ate at this truck for lunch daily during a conference at our hotel and everything I ordered was delicious!! Highly recommend!

We also came on a Friday evening, so it was nice to see of people here. The spot serves Hawaiian plate lunches, and it definitely did not disappoint. Portion sizes were huge, we probably had the best macaroni salad of our entire trip here, and flavors were super bold, but not overly salty. Pork Belly Fat Adobo (10/10) - this was fantastic! The meat was literally fall apart tender, and was able to retain its juiciness. Sometimes braised meat gets a little dry for me, but this place definitely does it right and preps some juicy pork. - the pork belly sauce mixed with the rice was probably one of my favorite things on this entire trip Spicy Garlic Furikake Chicken (8/10) - this was a huge plate! The fried chicken is super crispy and retains its crispiness on the outside for a while. It packs a very mild kick will not being overly salty or spicy. - to illustrate the crispiness, we were able to get our food to go, drive over to the beach, and while eating the chicken was still delicious and crisp Overall, a pretty unassuming spot from the outside, but as you can tell from the reviews of this place definitely hits the spot. Huge portion sizes, super crispy foods, and amazing flavors.

We came here just before their lunch break and it seems as if we got the last of the AM batch of food they had already prepared. I HAD TO get the Garlic Furikake chicken plate that they were known for and it was dry. Not only that but the rice was dry as well. The Kalua Pork was dry too and the "spicy" garlic butter shrimp barely had any heat or garlic flavor at all. About the only thing that was decent was the Mac salad which was probably made and bought from somewhere else. I was also looking forward to buying a shirt, a tank top or a hat but here was ZERO apparel anywhere. The whole back wall was a big gridwall panel that was completely bare. I'm really hoping that the next time I drop in I will have a much more positive experience.

Everything came out hot and fresh, and the portion size was impressive. For the price, I got a generous helping of soft curried potatoes, two chicken legs, rice and beans, a cute little cornbread muffin, and a couple of pieces of plantain. I'm still not sure how he packed it all in. I asked if the jerk was spicy, and he turned it right back on me -- did I like it hot? I do. The chicken delivered: genuinely spicy, tender, and falling right off the bone. The potatoes had more of a jerk flavor than curry, but they were still delicious. The rice and beans were decent -- I'm not usually a big rice person, and they came out a touch al dente -- but mixed with the jerk sauce from the chicken, they actually worked pretty well. Probably wouldn't order them on their own again, but no complaints in context. I'll definitely be back. Next time I'm eyeing the curry goat or curry chicken, and I'll be getting those potatoes again for sure. There are plenty of other options on the menu I want to try too, so it may be a tough call -- but either way, this one's going back in the rotation.

I needed something from Home Depot and they are located right in the parking lot! I ordered 2 asada and one quesabirria tacos. I asked for their hottest hot sauce, which I was told was the red sauce. The order didn't take too long to come out. Again this was an advanced food truck with a remote buzzer to let you know when your food is ready! I guess I'm used to the old school roach coaches where they just yell at you when your order is ready! My overall impression was that the flavors were a little on the bland side, but overall very good. The quesabirria taco was crispy on the outside and with soft melty cheese and moist tender meat on the inside. Adding their not so hot red sauce gave it much more flavor, but it could have used a little more heat in my opinion. Could have also been helped if it came with the consume. My fault, I forgot to order it, but for an extra $3, not sure it would have made that much of a difference. I was very impressed with the little asada tacos. Pretty small, but packed with meat and more flavorful than the quesabirria. Maybe because these came with salsa already applied! That may be the reason. Either way, pretty darn good show for a Hawaiian Mexican experience. I'd do it again. Probably get 3 or 4 asada tacos next time.

We had planned to go to the Punalu'u Bake Shop and this food truck and were pleasantly surprised that they're just across the street from one another! After picking up some malasadas and admiring the garden plants came to this food truck, parked cheerily between a little store and home, with both a shaded eating area and a cornhole games set up in front of it. Unfortunately a few things were out of stock when we visited (no strawberries and burgers I believe) but we were still able to pick up a shrimp sampler plate and acai berry bowl to share (came out to ~$30). While we waited for our order, we enjoyed a spirited game of cornhole! About 15 minutes later our buzzer rang and our order was ready. We took it to the beach nearby to eat. The acai bowl melted quickly and tasted healthier and less sweet than most, if that's your thing! The granola was good. The shrimp plate was yummy with lots of sauce for the rice below (the best bites). We felt that the curry shrimp was the tastiest, the cajun shrimp a bit spicy, and the lemon pepper good but standard. A little fresh salad on the side was a good accompaniment.
