Unprofessional tax company. Once you become a customer you are no longer a priority. Prices change, emails get ignored, text messages get unprofessional. Save your time and your money! I had to give 1 star, but from my experience they earned no stars. read more

This place SUCKS. Terrible as a black-owned business to do customers the way they do. I had previous years taxes done paid for all. Had 2021 taxes done & charged wayyyy more than previous years. Never in a timely or business fashion contact or respond back to any of my inquiries regarding any of my tax returns. Then the bootleg tax accountant April going to say I still owe for 2020 returns but I have documents stating my balance for that year is $0 & then on our call she even said no charge for that year. But when I start asking ?s and checking her on her stuff, then say I still have a $300 something balance. Oh no cuz I have documentation that says otherwise. & Keep in mind they never contacted regarding the processing of my 2021 tax return I had to go on the IRS website to find out my return been process & direct deposited in an account that wasn't mine A MONTH AGO. So no I don't recommend them to anyone. read more

Javis Financial Services, LLC dba Javis Tax Service has been in business since 1998. Kadenia Williams-Javis, is the founders of Javis Tax Service. C.L. Javis became the COO in 2010. Along with preparing taxes, and accounting services, Javis Financial Services,LLC dba Javis Tax Service is an advocate for tax literacy and believes in educating the community about tax liabilities. Javis Tax Service is dedicated to providing assistance to individuals and small businesses on tax concerns and questions. Their passion is helping consumers "Avoid the Franchise Fees" and informing them that there is "An Affordable Alternative!" Clearly Mrs Javis' purpose means more than the profit from her business, just look at her fees! Meet the Business Owner: Kadenia J.

Kadenia Williams-Javis,MBA,RTRP is a native of Columbia, SC, was born the eldest of Charles Williams and Shirley Harts-Williams. She was educated in the Richland One School District and graduated from W.J. Keenan High School - class of 1994, where she was elected to serve as Student Body President her senior year. Kadenia has the education necessary to impart information to the public and thousands depend on her expertise. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Limestone College and attained her MBA degree from Strayer University (Magna Cum Laude). She holds the designation as an Authorized Electronic Provider and Electronic Return Originator (ERO) with the Internal Revenue Service. Kadenia has earned numerous professional development certificates from the National Association of Tax Professionals, National Society of Tax Professionals, American Institute of Banking, Dale Carnegie Training, and Rhodes Financial Services just to name a few.

We went ahead and signed a contract, and she invoiced me for a Setup Fee, plus 3 consecutive invoices for 3 months worth of bookkeeping. She didn't follow through with a single thing we listed in the contract. Not only did she not even setup my Xero account, categorize my expenses, or do any bookkeeping, she kept responding to my emails saying she "was in the process of doing it all". She never did. Month after month I received literally NOTHING from her. Not even my login info to Xero! This also caused me to not be able to submit my estimated quarterly taxes as well. I ended up having to fire her for breaking our contract, but was only reimbursed a portion of my payments to her before she stopped responding to me altogether. The portion she didn't reimburse was $600. She just kept it. She made excuse after excuse along the way as to why she couldn't reimburse, including a "sick daughter", "that she will get it to me soon", "that she didn't have money in her account until her other clients payed her", etc. The back and forth went on and on until she stopped responding to email or phone calls. I would definitely NOT recommend working with Lisa Marie Robinson, of Li$a Marie Accounting, unless you want to be scammed and stolen from as well.
