This doctor does not do any kind of neurology. He stopped seeing my mother because she has multiple sclerosis, and now he will not see my son due to his diagnosis. My son only needs to see him for epilepsy, but this doctor refuses to see him. I am not sure what kind of neurologist he is, but he does not see patients for any kind of neurological problems! If you want a neurologist, do not go to this group! read more

!!**Would give 0/5 if I could.**!! If you lack sympathy, understanding, and professionalism, you should not be working in healthcare. My husband received his brain tumor diagnosis over the phone--not from a doctor, but from a nurse or administrative staff member. This is completely inappropriate and shows a disturbing lack of awareness of both the scope of their roles and the sensitivity required in delivering such critical news. Nurses and admin staff are not qualified to deliver diagnoses. This should only be done by a doctor or a mid-level provider. Dr. Pearlstein should have higher ethical and moral standards than what is currently displayed at his practice. It is unacceptable that such a practice allows this kind of behavior, and it speaks volumes about their lack of consideration for patients and their families during incredibly difficult times. read more

I was not given an appointment. I was referred to Dr.Pearstein by Dr.Wetheringsten . Dr.W is a hand surgeon who said after reading my nerve test he could not help but would send me to Dr.Pearstein . The assistant told me Dr.P only gave the nerve test & after that would send me back to my PA. I explained that I already had my nerve test done but wanted Dr.P to read it & give me help. She said because my insurance wouldn't pay for another nerve test( just like the one I already had) I could not have an appointment. Am I nuts? Does this make any sense? Got no help from Dr.P's office. read more

I don't see Dr. Pearlstein any more because my insurance doesn't cover him and boy am I so sad!! I have epilepsy and he lowered my seizures so much by changing just one medicine. He also diagnosed my post-concussive syndrome and then proceeded to correct that within a year! Also, he is just an all around nice guy. If you live anywhere between Atlanta and Blue Ridge, this guy is worth the drive (and so is the scenic view once you get past about Sixes Rd on 575)! read more
