"Be extremely careful about who you choose to represent your case. You truly do not know who you are dealing with until the contract is signed and the work begins. I strongly urge anyone considering this firm to do extensive research before hiring them--or any attorney--based on professional marketing alone.
I have been consistently met with last-minute cancellations, a lack of respect for my time, and a total disregard for the progress of my case. I will be updating this review regarding my experience very soon. Consider this a placeholder and a warning: look elsewhere for representation that actually values its clients."
UPDATED REVIEW 8/5/2026
I am updating my previous review as promised, and my experience only got worse.
Be extremely cautious before signing a contract with Arnold & Itkin. The level of disrespect starts the moment you call: the receptionist who answers the phone transfers you directly to voicemail 90% of the time without helping, and frankly, she needs to be fired. Between her, Andrew Bowman, his assistant Cynthia, and Adam Lewis, the lack of customer service and overall treatment was beyond unacceptable.
Cynthia is the most nonchalant, don't-give-a-damn person I have ever spoken to. She repeatedly forgot to call me back, treating me as if my case didn't even matter. Adam Lewis was dishonest and unprofessional, consistently telling me things just to rush me off the phone. There are not even enough words to express how terribly I was treated throughout this process.
Here are the critical warnings everyone needs to know before trusting this firm:
Distorting the Payout (Taking 90%, Not 40%): Out of a six-figure settlement, I walked away with less than 10%. The itemized settlement statement was heartbreaking regarding the fees taken out. After all the deductions--including fees for additional people claimed to have assisted on the case--I ended up receiving far less. It was a massive payday for them and a total disgrace for me. Even on the $1,000 contingency fund held for 90 days, they still managed to take a percentage cut.
Unreasonable Delays: Even after the case was settled, it took an additional seven months just to receive my funds.
Predatory Loans & Recommended Doctors: Do NOT take the cash advance/loan they offer--the interest rates are ridiculous and eat up your settlement. Additionally, do NOT use their recommended doctors. Get a second opinion of your own and use independent doctors.
Mediation & Deposition Suppression: During mediation and depositions, I was explicitly told not to discuss key truths about my situation. I was silenced on issues that mattered most to my actual recovery and case.
Review Manipulation: Do not be fooled by their 4.6-star rating. They have a company that reviews all the online reviews left on their page, and negative reviews are routinely removed.
After dealing with 4.5 years of severe pain, shutting down my business, and losing income, the check I received was an absolute insult. It didn't even cover my lost time from work or put me back on my feet. While they walk away with 90% of the money and live happily ever after, I am left in a worse financial position than when I started.
Bottom Line: Do not let the slick marketing and big law firm promises fool you. Read every line of the contract, don't sign it, and look elsewhere for attorneys who actually value their clients. read more
