If you know your exact property lines already and just need a survey to be done for administrative purposes, they're probably great and their prices are low. On the first attempt, the stakes for my property were placed extremely far off--over 17 feet (north) INTO my property one way, and 7 feet inside of our property another way--and the front part of our yard isn't even that wide. It was obvious without measurements, as the line ran through the middle of my front yard. Additionally, he staked into my already-fenced in back yard - insinuating that I had fenced several feet of my neighbor's yard as my own. I got out my old survey and confirmed this was wrong. I raised my concerns right away, and they agreed to redo it but the owner insisted that the same person come back out, despite my request for someone else (I was concerned because it was SO off. I do have photos & videos of everything). Initially, I was told the error was due to them relying on our old survey 'as a base'; however, I was able to confirm their mistakes by reading that same survey myself (I bought a measuring wheel for accuracy) which suggests it was not interpreted correctly. The second attempt was much closer, but still not accurate for the middle of our property. We decided we needed it redone after they left the 2nd time, so we were able to get accurate results afterward. I did not receive a full survey document, as I only needed accurate staking. Unfortunately, accuracy was the main issue here, and that's critical when it comes to property lines. While they did come back to try to correct the mistake, the final result still was not reliable enough for my needs, even though it was better.

The 2 party survey crew entered my property when I was not home and with no notification. They were…read moreconducting a survey for the property to the rear of mine. My Father, who lives next door, inquired who they were and why they were on our property. They refused to give their names, would only give the name of the business, and were behaving very disrespectfully. Then, the male verbally abused my Father by calling him call an A**hole. When I called their office, no one answered and they are not set up to receive voicemails - RED FLAG. I repeatedly called (6 times) and finally a lady answered who said that she was part owner. When I explained what happened, she disputed that her employees would say something like that. I told her I had heard them say it. I found her to be equally as off-putting. Ultimately, she hung up on me. I did file a report with local authorities. I followed up with the President, Mr. Skinner, and he pretty much justified his employee's behaviors and when I encouraged him to put a better foot forward in setting the tone for customer service for his company, he also hung up on me. Customer service and integrity are not this company's strong suit.

When I called and explained my interest in their services, the woman who answered curtly asked a few questions about my contact information and location, then said she'd email me an estimate. Didn't ask me what specifically I needed to be included in the survey and almost hung up on me before I could interrupt to ask when they could come out. She told me it would be two weeks. I got the impression that she was not interested in my business and didn't even ask who referred me. I will definitely call a couple other surveyors before making a decision.

While I was at work, my wife frantically called me saying three men were trespassing into our backyard. Only one of them was wearing a company shirt, so my wife was able to identify that they were not robbers. The three Pittman Glaze surveyors were working on the property behind my house. They jumped the security fence and trespassed onto my backyard to finish the job. I told my wife to put the surveyor on the phone, so I could figure out why they did such an unprofessional act. We have a Pitbull dog, and one of those workers could have gotten bit. Luckily, she was aware that they were actual surveyors and didn't let the dog out. The lead surveyor spoke to me in a rude, smart-ass tone. I asked why he didn't just knock on our front door for access to our backyard instead of jumping our security fence. He said it would take too much time and they were in a hurry. He was very smug in his comments to me. The workers said that they had done it already and we had no knowledge of it. When I got home, I found that they moved my fire logs out the pile and didn't put them back in place.
