Some may question why go a hair salon that has 1 star ?!?!. Well, the only review that this salon had was in 2014 and I'm sure since then, this salon should of improved. My matto is that I'll try anything once. I honestly almost always scope out the place first, looking at the hair dressers, products ect. And everything looked neat and clean. Yelp doesn't always define a place because on google they have a 4.7 rating Today only one hair dresser was there, and greeted me nicely and had a very fun energy about her, She had a very pretty name which ofcourse I forgot (she has a short blonde haircut with glasses) she held good conversation and was very attentive. HORRIBLE!!!!! Literally, in every sense of the word, in every aspect of business, this place is horrible. I can do the facetious remarks (all in Spanish, of which they were unaware that I spoke); I can even do the pauses to eat food and perm a best friend's hair. But when my hair is fried, brittle and essentially, holistically damaged, we have an issue. I wanted a simple wash and roller set. Back in the day, that meant rollers, hooded dryer, blow out your roots, and you're flawless. Here, they got an attitude because they wrongly assumed I just wanted a blow out, and got agitated when I stopped the process. Then, after taking my own set out because of the chit chat, they proceeded to blow out my roots WITHOUT HEAT PROTECTION, weigh my hair down with immense oil (which I thought was the former), and THEN proceed to add MORE heat by flat ironing it. Three weeks later, and my hair still does not feel the same. My curls are limp and my hair feels dry and brittle even after a deep conditioner. It's also breaking off in chunks with whole strands shedding. Looks like I'll need a protein treatment after just trying to save time, as I've been doing my own hair for YEARS without the issue of heat damage arising. I should've known there was an issue by the hair on their heads when I entered. I honestly can only blame myself for trusting this place. NEVER EVER again, even if both of my arms were cut off. EVER!
