OMG! I last minute needed to buy an arrangement for a funeral service that wasn't going to make me go broke.. I called the store and asked if they had any arrangements and how far in advance I needed to order, I told her I needed it today or tomorrow and she literally said "I can start it now" I was in shock! I literally arrived to the store in 15 mins, and waited about 10 mins and she was done with it! It came out beautiful and a great price, will definitely be coming back! My husband notifies me 3 hours before a clients funeral to look for a flower arrangement to send the family Right away.... I called a hand full of places and they were asking for over $ 260.00 for a medium size wreath or they couldn't complete the order that quick. Prom Experience - FAIL Extremely disappointed with the lack of experience and professionalism this business runs. Especially since this store was coming recommended from a family friend. Letty, the store manager, said she had only one type of flower to fix the arrangements. What type of flower shop has one type of flower and no fresh greenery or baby's breath? This raised so many red flags when entering the shop first hand in picking up a premade order. Please take a look at the work that was done in my photos and note that there were no other options of fresh flowers to help what was done. And on top of that, she luckily gave me my money back, but she closed the store on us to say she had to go. Go where? She has a business to run and she decides to close up shop? The team at Jasmine's flowers were absolutely amazing! We came in looking for flower arrangements for our wedding honestly not having a great idea of what we wanted. But we gave them a vague idea of colors that we had in mind. Letty immediately brought out several books and based on our recommendations was able to pin point different designs in the book that were very much inline with what we had in mind. All the while making recommendations that we hadn't really thought of interms of flower options. She clearly has years of expertise and was able to guide us in the right direction. She kept us informed along the way and the day of our wedding we were still blown away by the beautiful work that they did. All in all we did bridesmaids bouquets, bride's bouquet, boutonnieres for the groomsmen and groom, a beautiful bouquet for the church, and garlands for the head table. My daughter has been using Jasmine's Flowers on Whittier Blvd in Montebello for many, many years so when I needed special flowers for my daughter after she delivered her little boy Jacob, I decided to call her. Not only was I really happy with the flowers, I was very happy with their service! It was a RUSH order, we spoke by phone, she confirmed back immediately and then also sent another text letting me know the flowers were ready 15 minutes early! Now I completely understand why my daughter has used her for so many years. To bad I can't give less stars, like negative 35. I'm absolutely saddened and dissappointed by the product that was delivered by Letty. I reviewed local flower shops in search for someone to supply the floral arrangements for my grandfathers funeral. He passed away on January 14th, did not have arrangements in place with a cemetery so there was a lot to be done in one weeks time. We burried him January 21st, all the arrangements were made by my mother and I with no other help so it was a lot to get done in a short amount of time. I had read some good reviews of this shop on some other business listing sites so I thought to give it a try based on that. Was going to use Francos flowers but after a terrible experience a friend had while getting flowers for my grandmother so it was safe to say it was out of the running. Terrible customer service there. So on my first encounter with Letty she seemed VERY polite, friendly and passionate about her craft, I felt good so far. My family ended up making 3 seperate orders on different days mid week before the service was scheduled. My cousin and I ordered a standing spray on seperate visits, my mother ordered a urn spray and a standing arrangement from my grandmother. Letty was very helpful with offering suggestions, a catalog of arrangements to give me an idea of what I wanted to purchase, as this was a very difficult thing for me to do. She assured us she loves what she does and will go over the top for our arrangements and tells me it will be very special and ready in time. Well comes the day to lay my grandfather to rest and I arrive at the chapel with my mother before the service is to start to make sure everything is in place as we wanted it. Now starts the heart breaking dismay. The arrangement my mother had purchased from her to her father was supposed to have ceramic, lifelike looking ducks. My grandfather absolutely loved birds, ducks being amongst his favorite. So my mother chose an arrangement from a catalogue Letty showed us. Instead there were these gotti, cheap, ugly, absolutly horrible, purple glitter covered styrofoam bird like things. My mother just about cried when she say these hideous things. Letty did not even attempt to make a phone call to any one of us and let us know that she couldn't get the ducks she promised. I would've simply told her to leave them out rather than put these abominations on the arrangements. On to the next foul(no pun intended). All of the flowers and roses on each of the arrangements were wilted, rubbery, and dying. I immediately called Letty and she explained that she just put the arrangements together the night before & used the best quality of flowers and roses. Well they were quality product as the bulbs were large and had tons of pedals. Unfortunately she did not seem to accept the fact that they were wilting, well she also didn't acknowledge the fact that she did not REFRIGERATE THE ARRANGEMENTS NOR DID SHE DELIVER THEM IN A PROPER REFIRGERATED VEHICLE. I've been around flower shops enough that I knew the arrangements were experiencing heat shock. From the begining of the service to the end, 1 hour to be exact, the roses and flowers actually wilted progressively. This was proof enough that they were infact as my suspicions inclined, heat shocked. They were likely placed in a hot vehicle for transport and this damaged them or where they were stored before the service by letty was not adequite. We ended up removing the urn spray and using someting from the flower shop at the cemetary instead. As for Letty, she said she would give us a cash refund of some of the cost to make up for the ducks that were supposed to be in the arrangement. Styrofoam and ceramic do not cost the same. It's been now almost 2 months and she constantly avoided our first month of phone calls with excuses of "let me figure out what amount I can give you back", still no call back. Several calls have been placed. I've since progressed to filing a formal complaint with the city business bureau since she's a member of the chamber of commerce and also the local soroptamist club that she i a part of. This was truely a memorable and dissappointing experience. read more
