I'll say that again, they got unbelievable choice. So you are wading through hundreds of records. And you know from the staff behind the counter that they're really only selling quality. You could probably trace the history of British dance beats through the rows of this shop, as the sign on the door says: House Soul Jazz Hip Hop Drum & Bass Techno Reggae. So there it is, if you want these genres on vinyl, then come in. Probably not many better shops in London

There are a good selection of both. With a range that includes the mainstream and the diverse. I do not have an LP player which constantly annoys me when I visit this shop. The selection of vinyl is awesome, the range is excellent and when I last went they selection included mainstream classic Wu Tang albums as well as rare Peanut Butter Wolf LPs. A great place if you're looking to start, or round out, a Hip Hop and Soul collection.

Highlights of the choir's early years include its inaugural performance at Westminster Central Hall, Ralph Vaughan Williams conducting his own Fantasia on Christmas Carols, and one of the choir's concerts shown on television - a novelty at the time. In 1966 the choir appointed its first professional conductor, Ian Humphris, who led the choir for 40 years. NatWest Bank - now part of the Royal Bank of Scotland - has subsequently provided much-appreciated support throughout the years. Michael Downes conducted the choir from 2006 until his appointment as Director of Music at St Andrew's University, followed by Paul Ayres as musical director from 2008. City Chorus has performed in many beautiful churches in the City and West End, and at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, the newly-renovated Cadogan Hall, Barbican Centre and Southwark Cathedral. The choir is delighted to be accompanied at rehearsals and concerts by Philip Shannon, staff pianist at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Recent performances have raised money for The Prince's Trust, the NSPCC and the Rainbow Trust. For more information or to join or to hire the choir, http://www.londoncitychorus.com or contact our Membership Secretary Rosie: membership@londoncitychorus.com . Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays, 6.15-8.15 pm at the NatWest building, 1 Princes Street, right next to Bank station (Exit 1).

They sell all sorts of interesting jewellery and hair accessories. The products thus far appear to be of good quality but do come at a price: 1 hair clip with a flower on it cost about 18 GBP. Upon entering, I was greeted by a staff member with a small fake flower and upon leaving I had a choice of a 'gift' of a little 10 page notebook or some sort of small satin satchel. I find these 'gift' gestures a bit gimmicky and would prefer less free 'gifts' and perhaps passing that savings on to the consumer in the price of the products. I'm docking 2 stars because there was an offer at the front of the store indicating if you bought 3 items, you received a 20% discount. I picked 2 of the 18 pound hair clips and a headband and was informed at the register that my 2 hairclips only counted as 1 item, because they were on offer for 2 for 30 pounds. I saw this as a really round-about way of cheating a customer out of an expected savings when they've already queued up to pay. That said, I'll give one star back because the staff were very friendly and even got me a new hair clip when they noticed that the one I chose wasn't quite clicking together as it should have. Oh and the music in the store was kickin'!
