Called Jerry for advice on whether I had a case or not with a Texas school vendor who sent my credit information unencrypted in a clear email, including CVV, expir date, billing zip code - the works! - over the internet. This, after I discussed vendors lack of precautions with my credit card just last week! Jerry apprised me of the new legal requirements to prove concrete damages which is causing cases to frequently fail since it's difficult to prove that a merchant's negligence was how the identity thief got their info. I guess you need the thief to confess in detail before you can prove that. Not the news I was hoping for but I'd rather know the facts and not waste my time and money with false hopes. The good news is that Jerry is quick, knowledgeable and clear as a bell. Doesn't waste time. Took my impromptu call immediately. Impressive! Jerry may be a 5-star attorney but difficult for me to determine that in a 10-15 min call so don't let my 4-star rating influence you if you need to see all 5-stars. Jerry is the man! I had some legal problems and was clueless how to handle it. I was referred to Jarzombek and glad I was. The process was very informative, fast, simple, and entertaining (okay, I'm easily amused). I went in, gave him the information, and was pretty much done. Jerry did a great job! I received notice via lawyer advertisements that I was being sued so I went to the county website and realized it was actually legit. I printed off the info and started asking around to see if anyone knew of a good lawyer. One of my coworkers said Jerry helped him so I gave him a shot. Upon my first appointment I sat down and spoke with Jerry for a good 45 minutes. He explained the entire process to me. He told me what my chances were that the case would get dismissed. He told me his history with the company that was suing me was. He even told me what would happen if the case didn't get dismissed. Jerry spent all of this time explaining the situation to me even though I had not actually been served. I've never needed a layer so I didn't realize I actually needed to be served first. Jerry told me I could retain him now without being served but that he would wait and not retain him or anyone else just in case I never actually got served which happens from time to time. I left his office that day with my money in my pocket and quite informed. Well it turns out a few days later I was served. Well of course I went back to Jerry and retained him. We sat down for a little bit longer to get the paperwork signed and answer any other questions I had. Jerry charged me a flat fee which was great. Jerry even did me a great favor and gave me a discount for working in the EMS field which I did not ask for. I walked out with him and his office telling me they had it under control and if they needed anything else they would call me. As much as I would like to trust people to do what they say it doesn't always happen that way so it was a little difficult to just trust them but I did. Fast forward about 3 or 4 months and I received a letter telling me my case has been dismissed and that they appreciated my business. I contacted Jerry to help me with a garnishment. He seemed very motivated saying that would help then he disappeared. I tried contacting him several times and never returned a phone call. His secretary told me that he tried to contact me several times but didn't get through. I gave them another email address and still no luck. He knew my phone number but never called back. If you want a lawyer whom is too busy to take care of you, then he is you guy. read more
