It was such an over reaction --he seems to have an anxiety issue. Other thing: my lawn is covered with crab grass--he didn't put down weed killer in the spring. (Said it was my fault for not asking for it!)

They are rude and just make stuff up so they can charge you more. My neighbor still uses them and I end up mowing the parts of the lawn that are right over the property line on my neighbors side and EcoLawn is supposed to mow. I brought it to their attention that this is my neighbors property and they'e supposed to mow it, and they'll mow it for once or twice and then they stop mowing it again - although they're getting paid do it. Just terrible. You can do better there are literally 50 lawn care companies in the area to choose from you don't have to babysit and listen to their BS. Avoid.

I am 2 years late in giving this wonderful company a review. They are the absolute BEST movers…read moreever. My late husband and I moved a lot (almost 20X ) and had every mover out there. This was the FIRST experience with a local mover and the first time not one piece of my furniture was damaged. The movers were so so careful with every piece of furniture. I expect to move again next year and have already called them to let them know they'll be moving me. I cannot recommend them enough. Also, the day before my move, 2 years ago, I got covid. I called Mr. Kurti and as it turned out he had it also. Anyway, he was wonderful about it and we had to postpone my move a week. But the best part was how he and his wife cared for me! yes I mean cared for me. I have no family in State College and friends lived in Bellefonte, plus with planning to move at that time I had absolutely NO food in the house. His wife unexpectedly brought me bags of food and food that I could eat while sick. She certainly knew what a sick person needed. I was amazed that she would do that and was so blessed by her kindness. They were both so gracious towards me. And THAT is what Kurtious movers is all about, caring and kindness. Mr. Kurti told me that he and his wife feel their workers are family and they made me feel that way also. thank you Mr Kurti.

But if you just need boxes loaded and unloaded, and you don't mind supervising them, they were courteous, willing to follow instructions, and available fast. Politeness/courtesy: 10/10. Loading the truck: 9/10. Packing: 1/10, terrible. (Company sent completely untrained packers, they'd never packed before. They were trying, but didn't even know to put paper fill on the bottom or top of boxes, they were putting glasses sideways with heavier dishes on top, the works. I ended up largely packing myself.) Unloading: 7/10. (Several boxes were marked "top only," but they put in the boxes any which way so the labels weren't visible, and started stacking some boxes on "top only" ones. However, once I mentioned it, they did follow my instructions from then on. I think they were just inexperienced.) Ease of scheduling/availability: 10/10. (They were available same day.) I will say, this was an urgent job, so I knew to have lower expectations. But it's going too far for the company to send out packers with zero training for the job.

They came out again a couple weeks later to install the seal. The invoice was for $400 more than what was quoted. When I called, I was told it was because of the extra visit. Had I been given a choice I would have told them just to come out when they have everything. I was not given that choice. Get your quote in writing.

I worked with Roxey to ensure the repair team would meet my sister in law when she was at home with my wife (who was traveling from Northern Virginia. The crew met on time, reviewed the failing unit. They did so with thoughtfulness and professionalism. They had to get a new unit, which came in 2 days. The crew came back 2 days later and replaced the unit. They showed my sister in law the work they did and the new remotes Extremely professional and each member demonstrated care for my sister in law. I highly recommend them!!! The track install was acceptable, but the finish work was atrocious. I called Matt Garman and he whipped it in to shape. He corrected all the poor finish work by the previous contractor. He was sensitive to the environment and the time table. He went above and beyond for the budget he was given and stayed within the budget. On a second project, it was a complete remodel of a bathroom to make it handicap accessible. He followed all ADA guidelines and again took care to keep a clean and healthy work environment. He used a HEPA filtration system when sanding and doing demo to keep the air clean for the residents. He installed tile flooring and a smooth transition floor for wheel chair access to the shower stall. His work was beautiful. He also built a breezeway, enlarged a closet for wheel chair access, and painted. Mr. Garman I salute you.
