Our expectations were high, in no small part because of the giant, fragrant wood-fired oven on the ground floor. Stylish logo, lovely property, everyone very nice. We hadn't had pizza for a couple of months so we were READY.
That pizza was not what we were ready for. Despite the 800 degree oven downstairs it arrived lukewarm. The cheese tasted like asadero or something. The sauce like a jar of Ragu. And then there was the crust. What a letdown. Like cardboard, with no hint of the wonderful aromas that we'd smelled on our way in. WTH happened???
We are so bummed. Not sure what else to say other than with an oven like that, how anyone could make a bad pizza I don't know. Sigh.
Nota bene: there is no indoor seating, only the terraza, so go when it's warm or dress for the cold
