Jarmers Plads is very unique square in Copenhagen. It's a most see along with The Little Mermaid, Amalienborg, and Tivoli.
In the middle of the square you find the ruins of a old watch towers. It's one of the only remaining elements of the medieval Copenhagen. The town was a part of the fortification of Copenhagen, and was built in the 1500s.
The square have more parking places for cars than bicycles. I don't know about an other square in Copenhagen, where the municipality of Copenhagen take cars more into account than bikes.
The square have a lot of heavy traffic because of two traffic intersection.
Skaters use a part of the spuare. On a sunny day you often can watch them doing their tricks.
It's not the most welcoming place in Copenhagen, you have go and have a look at the ruins. read more
