They also have a nice playground that is fenced in and on a bed of wood chips. The playground equipment is in excellent shape and consist of a bank of toddler/traditional swings and a large jungle gym with tunnels, slides and bridges. It has a couple of canopies for shade as well. There are a couple of benches on the play area's perimeter for caregivers to sit and watch their littles. You will also find a nice restroom facility here at the park and 2 very nice tennis courts. The park has a lot of green space, which is also the location of the park's disc golf course. It is not a very big course, only 6 holes. The green space could be used for playing catch, picnics, or a small football game. It is a well shaded area and is bordered by a nice paved trail that runs along the tranquil creek. This is one of the better Manitou Parks and you could end up spending a decent amount of time here. I was here early in the morning and actually saw some deer roaming around. If you are in Manitou Springs and are looking for a park, this is definitely the place to go. I really enjoyed this park. It is well maintained and has a lot to offer. I highly recommend checking this place out.

Parking is available in lot or on side streets. The Labor Day Balloon Launch 3 day Festival was AMAZING!! Tons of vendors. Free to enter. Amazing balloons! Cool atmosphere. Friendly people. Early event is worth it! Highly recommend this park and event.

I stopped going to this park two years ago because of the increasing popularity with both regular people who don't clean up after their pets, but worse, less than desirable people that make me question my safety.
