There is a huge merry-go-round (of sorts, it has a netting so it is difficult to fall off of) and a large play structure. Up the stairs are several pavilions. If you walk to the other parking lot, you'll come across a few fields, a splash pad, bathrooms, and a turf area. There's usually an ice-cream vendor on this side. I've never been here and not seen a ton of kids everywhere: every field and play structure. My only complaint is that this is a super windy area. There isn't much around to block the wind, so it just gets unrelenting at times.

This is a very nice park that runs along a creek. It has its own private parking lot. You will…read morefind a pretty decent skate park here with ramps, and bowls. They also have a nice playground that is fenced in and on a bed of wood chips. The playground equipment is in excellent shape and consist of a bank of toddler/traditional swings and a large jungle gym with tunnels, slides and bridges. It has a couple of canopies for shade as well. There are a couple of benches on the play area's perimeter for caregivers to sit and watch their littles. You will also find a nice restroom facility here at the park and 2 very nice tennis courts. The park has a lot of green space, which is also the location of the park's disc golf course. It is not a very big course, only 6 holes. The green space could be used for playing catch, picnics, or a small football game. It is a well shaded area and is bordered by a nice paved trail that runs along the tranquil creek. This is one of the better Manitou Parks and you could end up spending a decent amount of time here. I was here early in the morning and actually saw some deer roaming around. If you are in Manitou Springs and are looking for a park, this is definitely the place to go. I really enjoyed this park. It is well maintained and has a lot to offer. I highly recommend checking this place out.
