You might be like me reading these Yelp reviews and wondering how can anyone possibly have all 5 star reviews? Well ... after his performance-- I am adding ANOThER one to the list! Our crowd was approx 20 people ranging in age from low 20's to 70's. He was our 'after dinner' entertainment at our family gathering taking place at a back room at a tavern. Jared made the space work for us. He was engaging - and included everyone in the room at least once- in his performance. We are still talking about how we THINK he managed some of the tricks. I cannot begin to tell you what a magical experience this was for every single one of our guests last Saturday! You never know what to expect when hiring an act for your event, I've hired many magicians and performers over the years for our annual Halloween party and this years event will be talked about for years to come because of Jared DuBois. He had everyone from children ages 8-17 all the way through adults up to the age of 76 absolutely MIND BLOWN by his magic tricks and mind reading! He did strolling magic and mind reading for 1.5 hours and was up close for every one of these tricks which is crazy because we were all in awe at every moment. He was funny, patient, kind, and had the biggest smile on the entire time. We could tell he truly has a passion for what he does. The kids and adults were still talking about it after he left and the next morning it's all our children could talk about over breakfast. At one point word was spreading like wildfire throughout our party about what Jared was doing inside that so many people crowded around him by our front door and I asked "need me to move everyone, Jared? And his reply "Nope we are great!" He embraced every personality, question, and moment like a true professional. Friends have been reaching out to me asking for his contact info to have him at their next event. It truly made our party next level magical and we cannot wait to have him back next year. Jared is hands down the BEST magician and mentalist my friends and I have ever experienced. We knew we were in good hands just based off the reviews but even those didn't come close to the level of awe Jared inspired in every one of us. We felt like children again, constantly in disbelief, completely amazed by what can only be described as true magic. Every single one of his mind reading acts left us in complete shock, and we couldn't stop talking about it afterwards. WOW! Just WOW! I hired Jared for a corporate dinner of about 20 people. This was our first post-Covid gathering as a team and we had some international colleagues in town, so I wanted to do something fun that we haven't done before. Plus, this is a hard to impress group. 1. Communication: Jared had great communication from my initial reach out to the day of. He wanted to understand the team, the venue, the seating arrangements, etc. so that he could entertain the best way possible. I really appreciated this as it seems rare these days to find someone that communicates so well. 2. Performance: WOW! WOW! WOW! We had Jared perform tableside hand magic and mindreading and everyone, I mean EVERYONE (even the skeptics) were blown away! I haven't seen anything quite like the talent Jared has. Our team is still talking about it. I don't want to give too much away, because you really have to see him in action to believe it, but this man is incredibly talented and Rhode Island is lucky to have an entertainer like Jared. He went above and beyond and stayed a little after the time we had him booked to make sure everyone could experience his magic and mindreading. We will definitely be booking Jared again.
