I'm supposed that the city is finally doing something about this little patch of dirt that they call a park. I'm in no way belittling the parks here in the city, in fact this city has some of the most beautiful parks in the city, and they put a lot of effort in maintaining them. But this one is so small and it sits literally in the middle of a major intersection. I think perhaps 100 years ago before the construction of the major roadways downtown, that this probably was a wonderful park. Yes there are trees and some shade, but you would rarely find people going to this park as a destination. Unless you're into smoking various substances. Unfortunately that is what this park has become in the last couple of years. Today it appears that workers are shoveling through the mid and trash to hopefully plant nice flowers. Or better yet pave the entire thing with concrete so it's not just flattened mud. read more
