A beautiful garden in the heart of Valencia (near the University). Such a peaceful place to walk around, sit down, and really take in all the sights and sounds. There are all sorts of tropical plants, desert cacti, and a lot of grounds to explore. Everything seemed to be well maintained. We had plans to visit another day during our trip, but we had just tried checking out a cocktail bar that was unfortunately closed. So this was nearby and we popped over for about an hour or so. It costs a few bucks to enter, which I'm fine paying. It's worth it. Only sad part is we weren't prepared to take too many photos (wife didn't have her camera with her), so hopefully we'll return someday to take more pics. Breathtaking. An oasis of peace and beauty in Valencia.

I'm sorry, but the expectations from the visit were higher, I was disappointed. The feeling of neglect. no irrigation, freshness, purity. Botanical Gardens in Moscow, for example, is much more aesthetic, green, fresh, beautiful. The same Jardín del Real liked much more. read more
