So it's no secret. Paris is hella expensive. Bishes can't be going out to foie gras and pate dinners every night and shit. Unless a rich Parisian is reading this and would like to sponsor me on my next trip.
Anyways, back to my point.
Me and my girl Jaime did Paris the boujetto way (boujey + ghetto) and bought bread, wine and cheeses from the patisseries and picnicked in the parks of Paris for most of our trip. (If a Parisian cop is reading this, I am kidding about drinking wine in public because that is totes illegal. *looks sideways*)
And that's how we found this gorgeous little oasis in the 11th arr. HOLLERRR.
It sits above the city level, adorned with carefully manicured bushes (insert joke here), trees, flowers and statues. There are also public restrooms and also a playground which we stayed far away from cause we can't be letting little kids see us down a bottle of Cote de Rhone at 2 in the afternoon...I mean, grape juice.
And as in many public places in Paris, there is even free wifi which is a godsend to Americans like us whose phones don't work without it, unless you're hella balling out of control on an international plan.
So yeah this spot is super cute and you should totally go here and drink adult grape juice in the park. read more
