Well, how did I get here? I have known Bad Langensalza from my teenage years and from GDR times. I visited it because of a birthday party last June.
Now, Bad Langensalza has been called the city of roses - since 2002. It is a place important for rehabilitation and wellness.
The Japanese Garden is one of many gardens in the town of Bad Langensalza, Thuringia. I would have liked to see the garden of roses, too but I ran out of time.
The Japanese Garden comprises 7000 square metres. I was very impressed by it all! It is looked after very, very well. I enjoyed the waterlilies - and the fish in the pond.
There is the garden of the awakening and the garden of the reason. The gardens of the awakening consist of different themes. Hanami, the cherry blossom is being celebrated here every year.
If you book you can take part in a Japanese tea ceremony.
Very charming!
Unfortunately I was too late for the tea rooms - but no doubt I will come back here! read more
