I was unable to receive care from Dr. Eva due to administrative issues with my medical insurance and the clinic. I spent almost three months trying to schedule an appointment. From my experience, I can say that the staff answering the phones need better training in customer service, especially when working in a clinic or healthcare center. There was zero empathy, zero intention to help, and when I tried to look for other options, they were dishonest about availability. I regret to say that she is rude, condescending and disrespectful. To start, it's really unusual to see any doctor have as many bad reviews as she does. Well, Im adding mine to further tell others to go elsewhere because this lady is definitely not in the business of helping people. There is not one kind quality about her. I'm not shocked that some people's reviews, they must be true. When I asked for my fathers doctor visit summary notes she refused to assist me and referred me to the online portal. She said she needs to see him for a check up for him to obtain such records. He scheduled the visit but while there she only gave him few past lab results. For some reason she is holding the visit notes where she must write why she is prescribing things, and his health stats. After all, by law he is entitled to request and obtain. yet she's unwilling to release these. She prescribed a drug to him that has severe side effects which he might be experiencing and I'm not sure my father was ever required to take it. He didn't give his consent and now he can't even obtain his visit notes. read more

I was using Dr. J because she was close and I could just stop by on my way home from work... I paid a visit to the ER at Mission... And she never discussed. My creatinine level was a three at that time... As time went by, and I kept going in with obvious symptoms of kidney disease... Rash, unable to sleep, nausea... She never connected the dots... Fast forward... I ended up in the ER again... that time, it was an emergency, and I was put on dialysis... Gratefully, God is still in the business of miracles, and I recovered... My nephrologist told me he has never had anyone go on dialysis and then be able to go off... That was all God's work... So in my opinion, this woman almost killed me... read more

This lady is by far the WORST person you could ever go to. This is the only review I have ever left- and it won't be my last- thanks to her. I will leave every review I can about her and I'm also going to go to whoever I need to with my insurance to make a complaint and to the BBB. Not out of spite-because I am simply just going to change Doctors- but to warn others to steer clear. I should have read all these reviews before going - because they are all exactly what I experienced. She's cold, not helpful at all, and has you come in over and over - paying a copay- but doesn't give any answers. She had me go for bloodwork - then I came back in for results (paying again) in which she told me she needed another bloodwork done to find out what is causing me to me anemic . So Ido another bloodwork (2 in one week) - have to go back to her for results (paying again) - and she tells me she needs to refer me for blood transfusions. When I asked her what the results were of my second bloodwork and what could be causing this (because that's why she said I needed the second bloodwork done) - she laughed and said there's no way for her to know what's causing this. Even though she charged me again (and my insurance) to tell me the same exact thing. Why didn't she just refer me the first time to someone else? I originally went in for anxiety and a lump behind my ear - to which she NEVER ADDRESSED AT ALL. When I asked about the link for the second time- she wouldn't even feel it and said "maybe someone at your house is sick". What??? This link is as big as a quarter! I told her about how bad my anxiety was and it was affecting my ability to work - she told me I should see a Psychologist- when I told her I was, she then told me I needed to get a letter from him to bring back to her. So I do. I go back to her and pay another copay (and insurance paid too) for her to tell me she questions my Psychologist and his medical license because he hand wrote the note. She then told me she can't use it. So why did she have me get it? She had only told me she needed him to write something to her. If she needed a specific note- why didn't she say that? Still never referred me to anyone to help and didn't address the issues I went in for - ever. I then finally spoke up and said I've came to her multiple times and you're not doing anything for me but charging me . She then said "I've only seen you once". What?? I've been there three times in 3 weeks and two bloodwork's! I then call and leave a message saying I just want my paperwork back and my referrals and I will be going elsewhere. She leaves me a message and tells me all my paperwork is ready and I can pick up. I go there and wait for 30 mins because the front lady can't find it. The doctor finally comes out and gives me my referrals but not my letter back from my psychologist so I can use it (if needed) at my other doctor. I ask her why? She says it's part of my patient file. I ask - I can't have my file? She then yells at me and says No! I then push back and I say- I am pretty sure I can have access to my files and what I have given to you. She still says no. Then says I'll have to pay. I said "ok- I'll pay" and then she says no again!!! So I start to text my husband and she comes rushing towards me and says "you can't video in here!" I was like huh? I'm not and showed her my phone. She then says "have your psychologist give you another letter if you want a letter ". So I say" why would I go back to him when to get this letter that YOU requested- and you have it right here?" She finally says " all I can do is give you a copy of it". Ya that's fine! That's all I want! Not sure why this was a big deal!! Then she says she needs to charge ME for it!! Charge me for a letter I gave to her! - at HER request! A letter she never even used! A letter I'm not even sure why I Had to get! Furthermore- the office is dirty- like FILTHY- and she has NO bedside manner. I could hear her in the next room when I was being seen on my appointment telling another Lady that she could have HIV. It literally was such a bazaar experience. She has no business seeing anyone! I will take this to the highest point that I can because this woman needs to lose her license. Also- be prepared to pay $1.00 for a mask because that's what she requires- even though this isn't told before your appointment. She's just kind of rude... gives off a very negative/judgy energy. I don't care if my doctors are "warm and fuzzy", but she is overly cold and her attitude comes off as if you're annoying her by even being there. My wife went to this "doctor". What an absolute joke of a practice. My wife went in for a routine physical as a new patient because we changed insurance companies. What other reviews are saying is correct, if you want your blood test results, you have to go back in and pay for them. The "doctor" said she would only have you come in if there was something wrong. She asked my wife to come in to check her results, which lead to anxiety up until the appointment... only for her to tell my wife she was fine - AND THEN SHE CHARGED FOR ANOTHER VISIT. This place is a scam and should be looked into by the BBB. Additionally, we received those bills in the mail. There is no way to pay online, you have to call or go in to pay. And if you pay over phone, they won't email a receipt or anything. Such a joke of a place and "Dr" Janiszewski should be ashamed by how she runs a business. No Doctor I ever went to has ever pushed or demanded I go on a drug as much as when Dr Janiszewski tried to prescribe Statins to me. I have heard about Doctors getting kickbacks from Pharmaceutical companies, but I have never witnessed it myself. Besides that, she was rude and unfeeling, forcing me to do other procedures I had told her I did NOT want to do or feel comfortable about. Awful place, I have been to this place for years My daughter got covid and my covid test was positive a week before my appointment with Physical check up. i have no symptoms but I had a cough once awhile. so I called the office to check if I can keep my appointment or reschedule. They said I can't come to the office because I still have symptoms and need to reschedule and there will be $40 charge for cancel the appointment. The Dr. keep yapping and did let me talk and keep forcing me to reschedule. Not a chance. When I met the doctor I truly believed she was going to get to the bottom of my medical issues. During the visit one of the girls did a EKG on me and asked me to removed my shirt and bra. Very uncomfortable but ok.... So once it was done she literally opened the door to my room with my breast exposed and left. Then opened the door again to come back in. Then told me I could get dressed. That was the first awful experience. I was mortified. Currently im going to a dental school for treatment because it it affordable for me. I was informed that due to my medical condition, I needed a paper signed so that I could have the treatment. A teeth cleaning! I called the doctors at 9 am and had it faxed over to them at 915am. I called through out the day checking if the doctor had signed it. They said no. They also knew I had an appointment today at 3pm. I called again at 130 and the girl acted frustrated with me and said it usually takes 48 hours but we'll see what we can do. That's the first I heard of "48" hours. Had they said that earlier, I would of sent it to the other doctors im seeing as well. I call back at 240. She's annoyed again and the doctor is busy. Im literally crying on the phone, left work early, and on my way to my appointment and she didn't care at all. 258 she calls again. Im sitting in the parking lot for my appointment. Terrible practice. Not personable. Mis-diagnosed me with gout when all I needed was orthotics. Had blood work done and made me make an office visit and pay co pay to get my results. When asked why she can't just tell me over the phone she screamed at her receptionist "if he doesn't want to pay he doesn't have to get his results!" And stormed off. I wanted to like this practice because I live only a few blocks away, but my husband and I just didn't feel that Dr. Janiszewski is personable. She's nice enough, but we just desire someone more engaging instead of someone who writes a prescription. We go to another doctor in Aliso Viejo. He is further out, but takes the time to discuss our current diet and daily routines. He had concerns of family illnesses and was thorough in getting blood work done and necessary medications for my husband's high bp. He also encouraged me to get another examination via vaginal ultrasound due to past ovarian cysts that required laparoscopic surgery and removal of my fallopian tube and ovary. I felt very confident and comforted knowing he takes every precaution and preventive measure to keep us healthy. read more

Dr. J is a thorough, caring, knowledgeable doctor who is great with all ages. She does an excellent job of caring for the individual and getting to know the individual. I would recommend her to ANYONE. Personally, I drive over 15 miles to see her and my children won't go to anyone else. read more

Dr J is a very kind and caring doctor. She is extremely thorough and takes her time with every patient. She has a very calm demeanor and explains things thoroughly. I also like that she calls personally with test results and doesn't just have her staff do it. The staff is always nice and professional. My only issue is that sometimes when I need a prescription for something that I've had before (an eczema flare up for example), or I need a medical letter for insurance, she has me come in for an appointment. I guess this is part of her thoroughness, but I wish she'd make it easier for routine / repeat issues to be addressed. But I would still recommend her. read more

I am a caregiver for a senior couple who have gone to Dr J for years and years. The wife's health severely declined and the home living situation was terrible. Dr J is very serious and didn't seem to want to listen to all of the issues we were experiencing during a one year period. The situation finally escalated and the wife was rushed to the hospital where a dr immediately placed her on Hospice. The husband's attorney needed a letter from their dr stating the wife's medical condition so that he could help the family. I called everyday to follow up on the letter until Dr J decided to get on the phone and scream at me (literally scream) and told me how busy she was. I was crying and saying how desperate we are and that no one will help us. She then proceeded to call the husband and tell him that she will never speak to me again and explain to him how busy she is. I think because she thought she was just dealing with some caregiver she had no respect. I was an accountant for 25 years and started helping seniors to make a difference. She had zero compassion for him and the fact that his wife was on hospice. I have been a patient of DR.J for a few years and I will never go back to her again. I am writing this not out of spite but to warn others of her lack of caring or listening to her patients. I have never used Yelp before but this was too important not to mention. Dr J has tried many times to put me on statins knowing how I cannot tolerate this drug. I could barely walk after taking this crap after a few tries I told her no more. Next was the blood pressure meds. I have asthma and a heart problem called mitral valve prolapse. She proceeded to prescribe a few medications for high blood pressure which none of them worked and one (after i did research on it) said DO NOT take if you have asthma or mitral prolapse can be very harmful. I called her and told her I was not taking this medication and to be put on a tried and true water pill which did the trick. Bottom line I had to do the research myself. The last straw for me was when I went to Dr. J for my breathing problems.. I knew something was very wrong and had to ask for a chest x-ray just to find out why I was so sick. She said the x-ray looked normal but had some scar tissue," {which later found out from a pulmonary doctor) I did not. My breathing problems went on for a few more months and still could get no resolve. . To make a long story short I went back to her again for my breathing problems and she sent me home saying there was nothing she could do for me. Another week goes by I am so sick at this point I needed help and fast. She tells me (well you weren't congested last week) What the H.... Then why was I there? She knew she messed up. She gave me some pills told me to come back in a few days because she was going on vacation and wouldn't be around over the weekend. By this time I was so sick with bronchitis and asthma I had to admit myself in the to the emergency room at 4:00 in the morning. They immediately put me in the hospital for 5 days. Had me on IV drip with heavy duty steroids and antibiotics the whole time I was there. My blood sugar went sky high because if the steroids and many more complications because of Dr, Jan's incompetence . Bottom line I am so furious that I had to go though needless agony "not to mention" the lost wages and a family wedding missed. I had Dr. J as my dr for a few years. She was always kind and caring, and her office staff was great as well. The only problem I had was when she confirmed my pregnancy, she didn't tell me I was O- which means I need a shot so my body doesn't think the baby is an infection. I found that out while in the E.R. for excessive bleeding. I ended up miscarrying. Realistically, I know it's not her fault I miscarried and it's unlikely it's because of the problem my blood type has. However it will always be in the back of my mind. I should have been alerted of the problem my blood type causes as soon as Dr. J confirmed my pregnancy. I haven't seen her since she drew my blood for the pregnancy test. They insisted I come in to discuss it which concerned me because I wanted to know what my condition was. After asking multiple times the doctor finally came on the phone and explained to me in one sentence what was going on in terms I did not understand. I wasn't able to make an appointment with her because she is going on vacation and I am moving so I won't be able to know what the lab results actually meant. I met with Dr. J for a physical. She seemed knowledgeable and capable. But not warm and fuzzy. Very serious. I had to come back to have a biopsy done. Before the procedure I told her about two other biopsies done in the same area awhile back and how they didn't heal properly. She said, "I'm not sure why they did that." Then told me that it wouldn't happen with her. The procedure went smoothly and she did a fine job. When I returned to have the sutures removed, I asked her if they were ready and she said they were. That night while I was sleeping the wound opened and started to bleed and burn. I called her office and the message said their office hours on Friday were 10 am to 1 pm. I called right at 10 am, no answer. I called two more times before the receptionist answered. I explained my concerned and she said she would have Dr. J return my call. When she called me back she told me that she was not in the office and would not be back for four days. She explained she was in a meeting all day today. She does not have a backup doctor. She does not have a nurse. She does not see you over the weekend. If she is in a meeting on a weekday, you are out of luck. She suggested I go to urgent care. I have three young children and waiting in urgent care with them, paying a large copay for some steri-strips seems excessive. I expressed this to her and she did not care. My pediatrician also has a private practice and he will come in over the weekend for something like this. If he is on vacation, he has a back up doctor. It is absurd that Dr. J's back up plan is urgent care. If you're looking for someone who is there for her patients' needs, she may not be the doctor for you. read more
