This firm did solicit the business, but I received a recommendation from a friend that knows them, the business and their reputation. I had two consultation calls that were positive that I retained the firm to represent my friend. Initially everything was fine. At the time a plea deal was reached is where tho Gs went down hill. Communication was short. Mr Katalanic had me working through his legal assistant. My friend signed his plea and asked to to obtain follow up information. I called and emailed and got basic standoffish replies. I wasn't asking g for confidential information. Mostly clarifying questions. Days later I called to ask about a new misdemeanor case and the impact on the prior plea as it was related and while I got on the phone and provided the details I was quickly informed for another fee (half of the original) one it could be taken care of. I asked for Mr. Katalanic to call me if Monday to answer additional clarifying questions. Instead I got an email providing information I was already in possession of and no answers to my questions. I received no call Monday, so I sent a follow up email restating what information I was looking for and a follow up call. I received a two sentence brush off email basically telling me my business was not welcome and no answers. Highly disappointed in the communication, service and professionalism. I am writing this review because not everyone understand legalese and fast talkers. By no means was there dishonesty, rude and disrespectful behavior.
