They've got two floors filled with fabric, mostly upholstery and curtains, but still well worth a visit. Here's the downer. When I got home, there were rips and stains in half of the fabric I bought. The stains came out in the wash, but the rips and tears... ugh. Just make sure to doublecheck your fabric before you buy.

And the waitress will offer you a coffee top-up. It's the little things. The Riverbank Arts Centre is home to many great shows (plays, comedians, dances), kiddie workshops, and really good Monday Night Movies (to which my friend just won season tickets and she's generously told me that we can go halves on my ticket so I can join her). But as it's just off the M7 (junction 12) you can very easily pop in if you are passing by. Which is what we do. It also stocks other things that are not exclusively horsey related, such as outdoor wear, stuff for dogs, jewelry and other gift type stuff. There's even a cafe, which looks nice. We've not had the need to try it yet though. They have the racing on in there too, so you can watch while you eat. Bright and airy, the staff were pleasant and there was plenty of parking outside. Worth a look if you like browsing or have a horse knocking about at home.
