The most impressive part was that all of the follow up appointments (6 in all) were included in the initial charge. This could have potentially cost us thousands and thousands of dollars but instead, they stood behind their work and took care of their patient. Especially, the office manager. I expressed my concern about their 3% fee to use our health equity debit card for an upcoming procedure. If you don't pay via check or CASH, they charge a 3% fee. No other medical offices do this, in my experience. I use my health equity card for all of our medical expenses. When I told them I won't be coming back. The office manager was extremely rude. I just received a bill from my last appointment. I declined the option for a fluoride treatment. They charged me for it anyway. I declined it due to their added fees. I nave never paid out of pocket prior for the standard exam and x rays. They must be hurting for money. Real classy Genesis Dental! I will be fighting your bogus charge.

I got a letter in the mail telling me that procedure would not be covered. I called the dentist and the receptionist told me to wait because they were going to appeal. They appealed and the insurance again said no because the procedure was not actually needed. Then they started hounding me to pay another $600+ and I told them to send me a bill. They sent one, I sent a check in to pay it. It has been cashed, there is proof. And yet I have gotten three more bills in the mail and text messages harassing me to pay it. I would not trust this Dentist if I were you.

This year, dentist recommended that she see oral surgeon for evaluation & extraction of her extra tooth so that her permanent teeth can erupt. I don't know of anyone who had this type of tooth removed this young and so nervous about it. I looked around at a few oral surgeons, and emailed Dr. Price's practice inquiring whether they work on patients this young. They do, and they work in conjunction with pediatric anesthesiologists for young patients. At consult, Dr. Price made my child feel comfortable. It was cool to see the 3D images of my child's teeth with the ones growing in and also the extra tooth. My child's consult was at the end of January and her procedure was end of March (today) because that was the soonest the pediatric anesthesiologist would be available at Dr. Price's practice. The pediatric anesthesiologists work directly with several oral surgeons in the area to provide available days to schedule surgery. Cost: you gotta plan for it if you do not have adequate insurance. They quoted $1665 w/o insurance. With my primary dental and husband's secondary dental insurance it was $375 total. The surgery required removal of her other baby front tooth and she also had a wiggly bottom tooth ready to fall out. Writing on day of her procedure. My child recovered SO WELL by the end of the day, & excited to turn in three teeth to the Tooth Fairy. Thank you Dr. Price for your skill & care with my child for her procedure.
