I admire and respect her, as well as, every other attorney who saw her in the courthouse. She recognized that I was, not only, divorcing a husband, but his powweful family. She said it was something she would be able to handle and wanted to help. I paid the retainer she requested and waited to hear something from her. Fast forward eight months later, after 18 unanswered phone calls, multiple unanswered emails, and no communication whatsoever I asked for a refund of the $1000.00 I gave her minus any cost of the documents she said she drafted in April. She did refund the full amount after I told her I would stop at the Strongsville Police Station if I didn't get a response by the next day. In the event she wants to say she never worked with me I have proof. Maureen Zito mfz@mzitolaw.com Jun 26, 2023, 6:53PM to me I have to get pre-approval of qualified domestic relations orders we prepared, before we all sign, submit to the Judge and then send to the Plan administrator. The Office of Personnel Management will review them. If we don't get pre-approval, we could end up doing them all over again. Maureen Nancy Jun 27, 2023, 8:40AM to Dale, Maureen Wow, how easy it would be to have a conversation in these last 6 months since texts and emails get no response. So I guess I'll type my questions and hope to get a reply sometime in the near future. WHAT was going to be sent over the weekend? WHO has to pre-approve the orders? WHAT REASONS would it not be approved? HOW MUCH LONGER do we wait for the preapproval? WHY couldn't this have been in process months ago? WHAT PAPERWORK were you referring to in your text on March 23rd? "You are not bothering me. I DRAFTED PAPERWORK and need to get it out to your ex. Thanks for the nudge. Stay dry!" (text you sent March 23rd) NUDGED on March 23?? I would like a copy of the qualified domestic relations orders you prepared. How much of my retainer has been used, what is the balance? 1-10 - debit card charged $1000.00 3-23 - nudged or reminded I guess 6-27 - still not a clue what's going on I need to know the details.
