I went to Jewelry LTD today to see Terry, we talked about some jewelry repair and a meltdown of my old wedding ring just like we briefly discussed 8 months ago. It was such a good experience, he asked the right questions and listened to what I wanted. I couldn't be happier with the chain he suggested for a coin I recently purchased. I always try to support local small businesses when I can, which is why I chose Jewelry Limited verses other options in Burleson. When I went to drop off my ring, the staff was nice and explained the process of getting my ring repaired, and gave me an itemized receipt, so I could give it to my insurance company. They also set expectations that it would take at least a month to get my ring repaired because they were backed up. That was fine with me. As it got closer to a month, I had not heard back from them. So I called them myself, the first time I called I was told that I needed my receipt number which I did not know. The staff member told me that they would look for my order and call me back. I waited two days and I still did not hear back from anyone so I called back again.And this time I had my receipt number. I was told that they would check the status of my ring and they would call me back later that day. Three days later, they finally called me back and told me that my ring was ready. When I did pick up my ring, I have to say I was impressed because not only had they replaced the missing diamond but they cleaned it and they even buffed out some scratches I had on the band. I was not crazy about the customer service over the phone. So if I have them fix a piece of jewelry in the future, I will go into the store with my receipt to get status in person.
