Emma, the general manager, is exceptional. The way she interacts with and supports her team is reflected in the positive attitude and professionalism they show every customer. It's clear she's a strong leader who runs the store with care, efficiency, and high standards. I recently had an issue with an online order that customer service assured me had been resolved, but unfortunately it hadn't. Emma took the time to listen, stepped in to help, and made sure everything was fully resolved before I left the store. She turned what could have been a very frustrating experience into a positive one. ULTA was close to losing me as a customer, but my experience with Emma completely changed that. I'm always blown away by how well my color comes out every time. My balayages and highlights always blend so well into my natural hair. Even 3-4 months after I get my hair color my friends and co workers continue to compliment my hair! - She's honest! I absolutely appreciate Maria's honesty. I usually bring a few pictures as references for what I want my hair color or hair cut to be. She's quick to level set my expectations about how my hair will turn out. I have thick, dark hair and Maria always keeps it 100 with me- before she does anything she will explain how light my hair will actually go without frying it, damage to expect, and how a haircut I may want will turn out differently because of my hair texture. I would much rather have someone like Maria working on my hair than any hairstylist that will just do what I want when they know it won't look good. For the women that left reviews about how shocked they were with the prices... how do you not ask about prices before sitting in a hairstylists' chair?? Or even when you call to make an appointment? To be in the same room is to be sucked into her obvious joy for everything she does. It's mesmerizing. I went in for a blowout and got great conversation, the best blowout I have literally ever had and a chance to feel some goodness in this mad world. It was amazing. Maria uses THE best products. We all had hair and make up or eyes done. My lashes were falling off before I left the store, they were re-glued and fell off before the wedding began. My hair totally flattened out before the wedding began. Another gal with me-Her hair flattened out before the wedding began. It was not raining or inclement weather in any way. The other gal with us-her make up stayed and hair only flattened a bit. I definitely should have made a fuss with my lashes falling off before I left the store but the gal was so sweet and nice I did not. live and learn I guess. The wedding was one of the best I have ever been to which made up for the money spent on hair and make up.
