Brought in leather sandals for a sole replacement and refinishing. I was notified they were ready, but arrived to find the job incomplete. The work was done while I waited, turning what should have been a quick pickup into a frustrating delay. The sandals were handed back tacky, with paint splotches on the soles and sides of the shoe that I had to point out and ask them to clean off. The final result was mediocre and clearly rushed. When I politely requested a discount for the delay and quality issues, the owner made defensive personal excuses about her livelihood, dismissing my concerns and making the interaction uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the staff then spoke negatively about me in Spanish right in front of me, apparently assuming I didn't understand. They eventually granted a very small (5%) discount, but given the lack of professionalism, rushed quality, and disrespect, I will not be returning. read more

I don't give out five stars too often but this place deserves it from their welcoming demeanors, great customer service, and workmanship its all A1! This was my first time patronizing and a lil nervous as I love my shoes and take good care of them. I had three of my fav pairs of shoes that I wanted to repair. I wasn't sure that they could be repaired but he did not disappoint. Not only was he able to repair them but they look like new. They also send a text to let you know when your shoes are ready and if you need them next day they can do that too. Note they only take cash or check but that's okay as their prices are reasonable. Great service. We are lucky to have someone in our area skilled enough to repair shoes and boots. It is so nice to get worn out heels replaced as opposed to having to buy new shoes. After unsuccessful searches to replace my favorite boots which were falling apart inside and out, I took them to Jaime's. So I feel I have to review this place as my shoes look awesome today. I took 3 pairs of there for polishing last wek and picked up the next day looking better than new. They do a great job on the polish with edging for 6 bucks which isn't bad. This place will be one of my regular stops in summit for me and my shoes! Only 4 stars because they close at 5 o'clock...Not so great for the working man. read more

I feel like shoe repair is a dying art. Most of the time I think people either have so many pairs of shoes they dont worry too much about wear and tear or, just chuck the ones that start to look beat down. I like to consider myself a shoenista , so each pair has a sentimental place in my heart. I remember where I first laid eyes on them, where I bought them and tuck them away after each wear in their original box with tissue paper. I had two pairs of boots in desperate need of some love and elbow grease. While I typically would polish them myself, I needed down right expertise. My dad told me about a place he dropped his shoes off the week before and I thought I'd give it a whirl. The shop is small but stacked with shoes and boots ready to go back home. They also have a few products for sale to help with home care ( polish, weather protectant, shoe trees etc. ) The guys there are beyond nice and very serious about business. When I picked up my boots they showed me each one and then together as a pair before wrapping them up for me. I was so greatful to see my boots back to their original state. I dropped off a pair of Chanel espadrilles to be repaired. They had a small tear in the back on the top edge of the shoe. We agreed on how they would be repaired when I dropped them off. Instead, they completely destroyed the shoes by sewing an enormous patch of compeltely different color leather onto the back of not only the shoe that needed to be repaired but the other shoe was well. They are now completely destroyed and can be thrown in the garbage. AND they refused to refund the money I paid for the repair. read more

Excellent service and quality repair. I brought a "leather" bag to them after the stitching on both of the shoulder straps came loose and were about to fall off. They reattached the straps (four quality seams) for $20, in just a few days. I was happy to be able to get some more life out of one of my favorite bags for only $20, and to be able to support a very nice, local business. read more

I first brought a long pair of high heel leopard print boots since the calf or leg part of the boot was too wide for my legs. I thought to ask if he could sew the shaft part of the boot to fit me better. I sew a lot so I knew this wouldn't be too difficult. Jaime carefully measured my entire leg from knee down. I picked these boots up a week later and WOW! they fit me like a glove. LOVE THEM and was SO HAPPY with the outcome. Didn't even pay that much $$ for the repair. Thank you read more
