My husband and I had been looking for a pet sitter so that we could finally start enjoying vacations again without having to worry about our indoor senior kitty. Our cat is not an easy kitty to handle. She is 17 years old with a lot of issues so it was very important to find a sitter that could handle the job. Our cat doesn't warms up to just anyone. We finally found a wonderful lady. We were jumping for joy soon after we met and interviewed her. We were so impressed that we booked her right away. She is conscientious, very thorough and did more than we asked her to do. She also would send us cute pictures of Amirah our cat, very thoughtful. I was desperate for a new pet/house sitter since the person we used in November was a disappointment. Jackie is a wonderful pet sitter! She is caring, responsive, thoughtful, and thorough. Our cat is skittish towards people but loves to see Jackie when she comes. Jackie does a great job taking care of him and has taken the time and care to notice little things he likes (such as how he likes to be petted and groomed) and then does them. She always sends a summary of her visits and includes photos which I love getting. She is also conscientious about home needs (watering plants, bringing in packages, etc). I have known Jackie for over 15 years and I always call her first to take care of my dogs. She took care of my Annie ( a Husky-Wolf Hybrid) when everyone else said no. She took care of my Blind Girl, Jovi, who at the time required six eye drops a day! "No Problem" she said, and when she noticed one of the medications was running low- she called in the refill and picked it up at the pharmacy so I would have it on my return! Presently she takes care of my 3 dogs when we are out of town and sometimes they don't play nice... however when she is here, there is never a problem! Everyone gets along perfectly!! She sends me photos and videos every day and lets me know how their day was! She picks up the poops and keeps my house spotless! She is Fabulous! I must confess- I always check her schedule before we make our own reservations... there is no one I trust more with my dogs.. they are my family and she treats them like they are her own! read more
