First and foremost, this is the first chiropractor who has ever led with X-Rays before providing me with care, which was a huge green flag for me. I have struggled with pain for years and was never sure if there was something actually wrong that was identifiable, so I constantly wondered why I wasn't getting better and if it was my fault. Not to mention it's a relief to know that Dr. Milbrandt was adjusting according to the results of the X-Ray rather than beginning somewhere arbitrarily. It was validating to be able to see the issues in the X-Ray images myself, and Dr. Milbrandt walked me through them in a way that was both detailed and easy to understand, followed up with a clear description of our treatment plan (including timeline, with scheduled re-examinations to keep tabs on progress.) It feels like we are following an individualized, data-oriented course of action instead of an uncertain, ongoing journey with seemingly no quantifiable end goal. The next game changer for me is that, after each adjustment, I am able to do my strengthening and flexibility exercises in the clinic at every appointment. As someone with an incredibly busy schedule, it's helpful beyond measure that I am able to get all of this done at one time during the day instead of being required to go home and carve out even more time (that I don't have) to do the exercises at home, where I also do not have the space or equipment to do so. It allows me to be more consistent in healing than I have ever been, which I am grateful for. I am hopeful that if we keep on this track I will be able to feel and see the changes, hopefully to a point where I can only come in periodically for maintenance after I exit the recovery phase. I would recommend the Chiropractic Health Center's thorough, wrap around services to anyone in my life, and am looking forward to seeing the results of this investment in my health.
